A nice, old-style hardware store with selections not available in the mega-stores.

I get a great personal service. There is always someone to help me. They answer the questions fine. They load and unload the propane so I don't have to pick the tank up. They have well-trained staff who gives friendly service every time. Their staff is always there to help. I will continue to use this provider again in the future.

They are really helpful, they have several emloyees always asking if they can help you find anything. I think it is much easier to go to McLean's than some of the bigger stores. They are small with lots of people willing to help you.

They have just about every part for older equipment that you would possibly need, and if they don’t have it, they’ll try to get it for you. There is a helping person in just about every aisle when you walk in, and they ask you if they can help you, and they’ll either direct you or take you to wherever you need to go. They discuss the types of equipment that are available. They don’t treat you like a dummy; instead, they pay attention and try to explain things to you. I feel very comfortable there.

Overall, McLean Hardware is an excellent local, small hardware store. Their prices are very high; however, you get what you pay for if you ever need advice. Their employees could not be better. They are all knowledgeable and very eager to help you find something. They have helped me numerous times with electrical, plumbing and general advice. Where they suffer, is that they don't have everything, and their prices are very high. Sometimes, they don't have something and you are forced to go to the big chain warehouse hardware store---good luck with that. McLean Hardware just moved locations, though not too far. They are now in the shopping center with the wine store and auto parts store.
