"Dear [member name removed] I am the owner of Eclips and it is not our policy to give the blow dryer to a client to finish their own service. Who did your hair service? We do not send clients home with wet hair and we have assistants that can blow dry your hair if the stylist is unable to or you were not on the schedule to receive a blow dry. As I said I can think of no reason at all for your stylist not to finish your service. Blow drys are included in all hair cuts at no extra charge. I am sorry that you had this experience and I hope that you return to Eclips."
I love Cassie! She is always punctual, has an eye for color, can blow-out my hair like no other, she listens to my input and I like that she is very focused, really pays attention to the work she is doing. I am usually on a tight timeline and can count on Cassie staying on schedule in both getting me in the seat and out on time. Also, I like that while she will recommend or introduce a hair product to me she never pushes the sale. The ladies that wash your hair are also really attentive and amazing.
NAILS: Daniel is a perfectionist when it comes to nail care and manicures! He took my working girls hands and made me look like a kept lady!
WAXING: I had a brazilian wax, perfect job. No burns, no missed hair, quick and efficient. I had a wonderful woman named Shahin who did what I consider an unpleasant grooming task done with such ease.
DO:- Make an appointment: Weekends are very, very busy. Try to go on a weekday if you can. - Go to the Website: Main page at: http://www.eclipshair.com/If you prefer to select your stylist & spa cadre by going to "Meet the Staff" at: http://www.eclipshair.com/staff_mclean.html; - The McLean Salon: The Salon is on Old Dominion Road, on the 2d Floor, above a Bank. The first time I went to the salon it wasn't obvious to me where it was located and how to get inside; go in the entrance on the south side (as if you are going towards Arlington). There is both an elevator and stairs to the 2d floor.
DON'T:Let the Front Administrative Staff deter you: The front administrative staff is hit-or-miss, one time I checked in early and was directed to go to the back waiting area ... it was a busy weekend. About 10minutes past my scheduled appointment, my cell phone rang and it was Cassie (who is ALWAYS on time) checking to see if I was coming-in or needed to reschedule. I let her know I had checked into the front desk and was there, in the building, in the Salon waiting area; the front desk was in utter confusion. Cassie was modified, I was just irritated. Not her fault though. Since that experience, I always swing by her station to let her know I am there. She is punctual and pays attention to detail even if the support staff is hit or miss.
We are relocating out of the area, I will definitely miss Cassie and the overall Eclips experience!
