Our new (to us) home had no access to cable TV. There was already an HD-dish on the house, so I researched the service by Dish. There were mixed reviews, and my kid was starting to have TV-withdrawl because we had nothing in the house so far, so I took a chance and ordered the Dish-HD service.
The installer didn't have much to do since the previous owners used the service. The installer arrived on time and was very professional.
We had the service for about one year, and were using a Verizon hot-spot for internet. This was the only arrangement available. We finally got Comcast to come out, and they reallized a and quot;cable-tapand quot; was missing in front of our house. They installed the tap and dug cable to the house for free.
Because we could now get cable-internet and cable TV for less than out current arrangement, we cancelled Dish to save the hot-spot fee.
We had TWO outages with dish in one year. Both lasted a whopping 15 minutes. It was raining so hard that I was ready to start building an ark, so I understood what the problem was.
I would absolutely use Dish again.

I have had them for quite a while and I like them. For the most part the service has been pretty good, and that is important. The guys were really good about setting things up here, so I have been happy with them over the years. The quality of their equipment is good. They have been very responsive and punctual. They were very professional.
