Then I bought a larger one and dealt with someone else, not Bill, who sold me a flimsy pad (expensive, I thought) which I think belongs on top of wall-to-wall carpeting. I recently had back surgery and sit on the edge of the bed to put my shoes and socks on and the rug was skidding out from under my feet.
I went in, Bill was not there, and the man who sold me the pad mentioned above said he had given me several choices which was not the case. I have a memory like an elephant. I said I wanted the kind Ayoub had put under all my other (real) Oriental rugs--the thick, furry kind which are to be used on hardwood floors. He said it would be much more expensive, was not particularly anxious to help me and didn't do so on the spot. Especially since I told him I didn't think I should have to pay for it.
Today I got a call from Bill and he said he had the piece waiting for me---that it had been measured and cut and ready for me to pick up. No charge.
Keep in mind that I am really a two-bit customer and I believe this is customer service WAY beyond "the call of duty". They are taking a loss on this. I hope my review will help steer business in their direction. Be sure to ask for Bill.
Thank you very much!
