The bouquet was perfect and delivered within a couple of hours from the time I walked into the shop and ordered it. The owners are very responsible and responsive to the needs of their customers. I would definitely recommend Sandy's Floral Gallery.

May 2012
I went to Sandy's Floral Gallery over a year ago to begin the preparations for my upcoming wedding. I didn't want much in the way of flowers, just simple hand-tied bouquets of fresh flowers (only one or two roses in each) for each of my attendants, corsages for the mothers and simple boutonnieres for the groomsmen. There was to be an arch covered partially with greenery (which my wedding director was providing) and a few blossoms, and two ferns in stands on either side of the arch. The tables did not have floral centerpieces, but instead I purchased Victorian cups and saucers to be planted with African violets.
When I, my director and matron of honor went for the initial consultation, Nikki-the owner's daughter who runs the shop, insisted I sign a 'save the date' contract. I was hesitant, because she refused at that time to give me any sort of estimate for her services, telling me that the 'price of roses and other flowers change dramatically from year to year'. I signed the contract, but verbally made it clear that I wanted to have a complete estimate before anything was finalized.
April of this year, my director and I go in for a final consult, and all the arrangements were planned. At the end of the meeting I asked Nikki if she could give me an estimate close to the total cost, as I was ready to write a check that day. She thought for a moment and said "Make the check for $800, that should be close and you might even have some coming back." I was very happy with that figure and wrote the check.
Then two days later I get an email with the final contract and estimate. $2,800!!!! I sent her an email back saying that there must be some sort of mistake, but got no answer. The contract included $1000 for 6.5 hours estimated total labor cost. I don't know how much florists normally make an hour in other cities, but from the opinions of every other florist I've shown this to, it is absolutely beyond laughable-it is robbery. When my director and I discussed it, we of course decided that Sandy's Floral Gallery would NOT be doing my wedding. I called and asked for the deposit back, minus the consultation fee. She informed me that she will only be returning $400, due to her having a signed 'save the date' contract. $400??? And when I brought up the fact that I had not signed the contract or estimate, she told me 'too bad, I'm legally within my rights'. She also denied the conversation regarding the cost of the wedding being at or about $800 when I wrote her the check, so she is not only a thief, but a liar as well.
