Areas that were also cleared were my son's bathroom. Items were stowed away in drawers, Boy Scout items were grouped together and you can actually see the counter top now! Ann had helped our son a few days prior organize his room so it is now much more functional. He actually sits at his desk now whereas before this space was nothing more than a pile of "stuff" and trash. It is my hope that since it was Ann working with our son helping him to identify what would work for him that he will take ownership of the space and keep it looking as neat as it looks now. So far it has stayed clean for 2 days! Keeping our fingers crossed.
Other spaces in desperate need of clearing were 2 closets and one of the upstairs hallway. These areas were nothing more than piles of stuff from ski equipment/clothing, sailing items, Boy Scouts, old Halloween costumes, etc. All items were dealt with, organized by sport, etc and either put away, donated, or trashed. The closets look amazing now and you can walk down a clear hallway.
Final count: 2 large bags of trash, 14 boxes of items to donate to the Vietnam Vets, 2 large bags of cushions, towels, and pillows for the animal shelter.
Ann also put me in touch with an eBay seller who took a number of my items that she believes will sale on eBay. Although I have thought of eBay as a potential place to sale items I have never had the time to pursue this idea. I am thrilled to have someone help me as I believe that some of the items should do well on eBay.
Ann's price is fair and I believe that the service she provides is of a fantastic value! I look forward to having her in my home again assisting me in reclaiming space, peace of mind, and improved organization.

Ann & Leslie were great to work with on a project we'd dreaded for a very long time & didn't know how to begin. Our garage/workroom was full of tools, woodworking supplies & everything else anyone would have in their garage. They sorted through everything & we now have lots of room to stage future donations etc. as we try to downsize the rest of our house.
There was no pressure to discard anything; they offered great moral support as we parted with lots of stuff we don't use anymore. We had dreaded this process very much, but Ann & Leslie made it much more tolerable process.

It's something I've been putting off for a long, long time. My closet was a catch all for the whole house it seemed. With 3 kids and a busy husband, I never could get to it.
Ann hugged me immediately when we met. She knew how hard it was for me to make that call and get started on such a massive undertaking. To let someone in your closet is very personal and private and I'm so glad I came across Ann to share this experience with. We were in the closet for 4 hours...4 hours straight working, deciding, letting go of things. Ann's tone was both warm and matter of fact. For example, a great Ann Taylor suit that I haven't worn in a while...I was struggling...what if I need to wear this suit?...
Ann suggested we donate the suit to a domestic violence shelter and give someone in need an interview outfit. Wow! I let it go.
I'm proud to say that I was able to let go of a lot...8 boxes to be exact. It was freeing!
Ann brought organizing tools to help me sort accessories and shoes. She made suggestions to make even more room. She gave me tips on how to maintain my new neatly organized space. She gave me questions to answer before I purchase any clothes. She is a true professional with a warm disposition to help you through the job.
My husband was so impressed! Ann helped me start on his closet and he and I completed it that evening. I have another storage space that I hope to have Ann help me with soon.

Obviously there are things that I needed to go through myself (paperwork, personal letters and documents, etc. and I did that before finding Ann. She is also able to work on her own by assembling things in categories and letting the client look through them to decide what to discard, sell, donate, etc. and she takes it from there. She is very flexible.
