They came out to measure for the countertops on the same day we called them. They took down all of the information and then said they would call me later that day to tell me the date they would be ready. They called back within an hour to tell us they would have the countertops ready for pickup in 11 days. One of the existing counters had a rounded end that was not made consistently. The day before the counters were to be ready, they called us again and asked to come remeasure the rounded part of the countertop to ensure that it was made correctly. It had snowed the day before and when he arrived, he insisted on taking his boots off so he would not track snow into the house. He measured the rounded end again and was gone within 5 minutes. The next day we picked up the counters. They loaded both countertops and used packing materials to make sure they did not get damaged. They also gave us tips on how best to install them. We installed the countertops ourselves so that we could make upgrades to both the existing plumbing and electrical. As we were installing the first of the two counters, we discovered that the existing wall was not square and thus the backsplash piece would not fit. We called them to see how we needed to trim it so it would fit. They told us how to cut it or offered to cut it for us if we brought it to them. I took the piece back to them and they cut it for us. It took about 5 minutes. We finished installing the counters and they look fantastic!!! If I ever need custom cabinets or counters in the furure, I will certainly use L & L again. I would highly recommend them to my friends and family.
