I have been going to them for twenty years.  They are very good.  They are honest.  Their prices are probably average, reasonable, they are not cheap but they are not overly expensive.  They are much cheaper than a dealer would be but my biggest argument for them is that they are honest and they do very good work.  They are not trying to sell me stuff and they will come back and say I have another fifty percent left on my brakes and things like that.  They charge somewhere around $80 or $90 an hour, which I think, is the going rate for a mechanic.  It might be a lot of money but it is probably even higher at a dealer.  The quality of their work is topnotch.  Their mechanics are really good.  I have never had to return things for a bad job; it is always done right.  Two brothers own the company and one of the brother’s sons is the coordinator or manager there and there is not a lot of staff turnover there so they are a well-established group of people that know my cars and keep good records.  I don’t have to remember when they did something because they can tell me.  It is a very small shop, I would guess they don’t have more than five people working there so it might take a few days to get an appointment but it is well worth the effort and very fair.  They are very personable as well.

I stopped at Sheetz in Ridgeway around 4pm on Thursday afternoon. My car would not start. I called a friend who came and looked for it and thought it was the alternator. He advised me to call Auto Tech. Auto Tech arranged for a tow truck to pick up my car in Ridgeway and take it to their shop. They paid for the tow truck up front and put it on my bill. By 11 am on Friday, I was called with an estimate and description of the problem. One of my battery cables and terminals were corroded and not working properly. It had killed my battery. I agreed to the estimate over the phone. By 5pm, I was called back letting me know my car was finished. Because I had to wait until later that evening for my husband to get off of work, they allowed me to pay with my credit card over the phone. They explained where they would leave the key. The key was easy to find and a detailed receipt was placed on the driver's seat. I have no complaints at all about the service and care I received.
