Two By Four Construction did an excellent job designing and building the front porch that my wife and I always wanted. The crew showed up as promised and were prepared. They kept the worksite clean and safe. Gary kept us up-to-date on the work and deliveries. that he had scheduled. The quality of the work was well beyond our expectations. A few years ago, Gary and his crew did a wonderful job on our bathroom which is why we have hired them to do our kitchen upgrade. Fair pricing - very hands on. Over 30 yrs of experience so they've seen it all and can guide you through the jungle of options for pretty much any project. The crew are all very friendly and do an exceptional job. We will gladly hire them for the next project.

My wife and I have used Two By Four quite a few times so far. They installed laminate flooring replacing some of the subfloor at the time and while the subfloor was up added ceiling lights to the room below. We had them come back and add ceiling lights, fan boxes, and smoke detectors to 4 bedrooms. They have also done plumbing work in the guest bathroom and the kitchen. They installed a mail box that required a concrete pad and added stonework around it for finish. Finally they replaced some siding and attic vents that were damaged by hail. Every job has gone smoothly, they arrive when expected are friendly and clean while on the job site. We never had any cause to be upset. They have been able to do some jobs like the kitchen sink leak on very short notice. Overall very happy with Gary, Jr, and the entire crew.

I did not hire, the quote was very unprofessional and extremely high, it did not include the entire job and what he quoted was 4 time the price. before gary left i asked a blunt question, do you want to do the job and he said yes. i would have respected him more if he said no because it was evident he did not, in my opinion.

We were extremely pleased and satisfied with the services performed by Two By Four Construction. When I moved into my home in 2015, the knee high wall door was an eye sore!!! The builder recommended doubled sided tape to hold it in place! Needless to say that was short lived. I wanted to get it repaired but was particular about what I wanted to it to look like. Long story short I submitted an inquiry November 2020 and Mr. Gary Stannard and his team responded and came to our rescue! I've included before and after photos. Absolutely love the finished product!!!

They did a great job and got it done within a couple days of hiring them. I had a LOT of other work to be done, but prices were WAY TOO HIGH ($660 to replace 6 white lattice trellis pieces!)

workers were professional, timely. all trash was removed. steps are great. wider and easier to get up and down on. completed job is as i requested. i am a pleased customer and would refer this company to all my friends and neighbors.

They showed up when they said they would and were polite and pleasant. I had a small full bath remodeled. They did a great job in stripping everything down, making repairs that were needed due to some previous water damage, and installing new vanity, light, and bath accessories. I had some other small handyman repairs that were taken care of as well without issue. All work was done within the time stated and done well. I would use them again. The only minor issue was the the wax seal for the toilet apparently moved after about a month, but they came back out and replaced it without issue.

Although the work was ultimately done, it wasn’t without nonstop headaches, damage to stove, incorrect measurements, restarts, etc. Owner is a nice guy but he just seems to be out to lunch when it came to managing the work correctly. I’d rather have someone who takes pride in their work and it does it correctly from the start. Why should I have to tell the owner about problems and manage what his people are doing or not doing. Just absurd.

Excellent. The work required coordinating with a master electrician and the county. Two by four coordinated with them seamlessly.

Great quality work. Fireplace is working well, adjusted heat level and relit pilot light. Checked heating elements in electric water heater and adjusted thermostat appropriately. Originally asked to replace 4 shingles, replace 9 for same price. Replaced fencing and all boards fit perfectly. Contractor was very responsive and timely. I would definitely use again.

Great job! They did the work they promised on schedule at the agreed upon price. We have some bay windows that were original construction and the floor was not insulated. They put in insulation and proper soffit. Looks great! And for the first time in 7 seven years, our house main floor is not cold this winter! I have other projects that I will have them do as well!

The work went extremely well, finished early and at the quoted price. Mr Gary, Gary Jr and the crew were extremely flexible in our ever changing schedule. The offered sound advice on home improvement projects throughout our new purchase to include worked that could be be done later and what needed immediate attention. Communication was lacking. Did not know when they were scheduling or when the schedule changed. Work was less than anticipated but price remained the same. Requested additional work and never heard back.

The crew arrived on the job exactly when they said they would. They installed seven outside motion detector lights, repaired one window and painted two shutters, two windows and a door. The crew was friendly and asked questions to be sure they did everything the way I wanted. The area was clean when they left. I was very pleased with the work they did and the price I paid. I would definitely hire again.

Junior and John showed up early in the morning having picked up a previously purchased storm door. It was absolutely freezing outside, and I was surprised they even showed up! Both Junior and John were extremely polite, courteous and professional. Due to the extreme cold, repairing the door jamb and replacing the existing storm door took longer than I would normally expect, but these gentlemen did an excellent job, and I would highly recommend for anyone needing their services.
