We specialize in geriatric & special need pets; as well as taking loving care of our healthy pets. We are experienced in canine, feline, aviary and other exotic pets. We are a mature, experienced, reliable company that will love your pet as our own. We are Vet recommended with excellent references. Our services are listed below. The sitter was wonderful and the dogs loved her. The house was well taken care of as well. She stayed until she was sure we were about to arrive home. Very good sitters under Cynthia's direction.

Cynthia was amazing. I was very comfortable after leaving Bella in her care. You can tell she is very passionate towards animals and cares for yours like they are her own. She was very quick to respond, great communication. I will definitely call her again when we need a pet sitter.

She was superb as always. I received daily updates via text or cell and the dogs were well cared for. Everything went really well with no issues or complaints. I've used Total Animal Care for 20 years now and have always had no issues and nothing but stellar performance from the company. She is well regarded by vets and others that use her.

I contacted Total Animal Care about looking after a cat, while I would be on vacation in Florida and was totally satisfied with the service. The best part of Total Animal Care is Cynthia, who has a spiritual connection to animals and humans, but is also hard working, responsible, and detail oriented. I would highly recommend and feel very comfortable if .Total Animal Care was looking after my animals.

TOTAL ANIMAL CARE LLC has been in business since 1998. That right there told me that they are an experienced professisonal company. When I spoke to Cynthia the Owner, she was very thorough emailing me a detailed Client Departure form detailing my pets needs and wants. This was reviewed thoroughly at the time of our contract signing appointment. Her company is small keeping it personal and caring. We have used 2 of her professional petsitters who were professional women and now stay at home Moms. They are CPR and First Aid certified. They are also Vet recommended with very good client references. We have used TACs Cageless Boarding where our pets stay at the petsitters home becoming part of their family even sleeping in bed with them and we have used TACs Mid-Day Walk service where they are walked at 12 noon monday through friday. This is necessary for us since we both work in D.C. and puts our mind at ease knowing that they have gotten outside with tender loving care. We appreciate the daily Journal that is left after every visit.

I called Cynthia Tallia the owner of Total Animal Care if she would be able to watch my pets for the first week in December 2012. She said yes. So I met with her the week before and gave her all the information necessary to take care of my pets. She met my dog Winnie and my two cats Misty and Chip. I went on my vacation December 1st,2012 and came back on December 7th,2012. When I got home, I was happy to see that my pets were doing great. I read the day to day note left by Cynthia and was satisfied with her business.

TAC asked about our dogs, their personalities and needs. Cynthia then selected the pet sitter which best matched our pet's needs and her sitters availability. We met with the sitter befors hand and were very pleased with the sitter. On the day before our trip we dropped our dogs off along with the TAC pet info form, food and meds. Upon return from our trip our dogs were very happy and healthy for having been with a TAC sitter. This experience has been especially happy for our dogs who do not do well in kennel cages. They love people and do not like being caged. So the TAC "home" sitting service is perfect for us and our dogs. The family which did the sitting was perfect for our dogs. It was as if they were with family rather than being cared for.

She travels to my place just to take care of my pets when we are out for vacations. She comes twice a day and spends time with the animals, then closes up the house again. She sends emails and that are fully hilarious. She has a whole list of little things that people do with their pets and it's fully photographic and it's comical. It just tells you how much she loves pets. She does that regularly to her customers. She loves the pets and talks to them constantly.
