Tand T Contracting did a great job in building the deck that we wanted. We worked with Tony V. in initial discussions with what we wanted, and didn't want. He listened and built us the deck that we envisioned in our heads. Throughout the process, we had some changes and Tand T Contracting had no issues in implementing them. They were very responsive to all of our questions and got the job done in a reasonable amount of time. We received estimates from numerous contracting companies and Tand T were very competitive. We would definitely use them again in the future and would recommend them to family and friends.

We reached out to Tand T to get a quote on a 2 story addition (22x18) on the back of our house. We wanted to add a kitchen and dining room on the first level and a master suite on the second level. Tand T came out and quoted us a very reasonable price at first. We moved forward with drawings that were very reasonably priced. They were very reasonable and accommodating and came up with a great design.
What disappointed us was when we talked through pricing after the drawings were complete. We made it very clear throughout our conversations that we wanted to keep the price of the project reasonable and there was a huge disconnect with the general contractor and the guy at the office who did the pricing. The price doubled what was originally quoted in the last week with no major changes.
We decided to use another contractor for our project that was able to stick by their pricing.

They were recommended by our home warranty company. We found some impurities and they came back to redo it. The people who came out were friendly, and they did a professional job. They came and did what we asked them to do. We were pleased with that. They told us that they also do other type of contracting, and they gave us estimates to do electrical work, but we haven't used them for that yet.  They gave us everything that we wanted.

I was selling my home in  Virginia and before I placed it  on the market the realtor suggested I do some updating to get a better sale price! I needed to update my kitchen and master bathroom.  A friend of mine recommended and showed me the work a company by the name of TnT construction.  So, I called and one of the owners by the name of T.J. Mayes, came to my home and I explained to him exactly what I wanted done, and that I needed it done quickly as I wanted to sell the house quickly as I had already purchased a home in Florida.  He wrote down every thing I asked for in great detail and called me within two days with an estimate of  just a bit above 23,000.00 , we made an appointment so that he could come over and show me how everything would look and so I could pick out the tile, cupboards, and bathroom and kitchen fixtures.  He said they could start the following Monday and would have the work done within 10 days.  I signed a contract and they began work the following Monday and were done in eight days as he worked through the weekend so that I could get the home on the market.  Everything was done to my expectations, they were neat  and professional and really worked hard to complete the job as quickly as possible for me.  My home's value increased by 45,000 and sold the first day on the market.  I would recommend this company to anyone that is in need of remodeling  or in building an addition or a new home as he told me he did that as well.
 Mr. Mayes  could not have been more professional, yet down to earth.   He checked and rechecked every bit of work that was done by anyone other than himself.  I could not thank him enough and I was so happy to have been able to sell my house and make the additional  profit.  My only regret is that he is located in the Washington, Northern Virginia Area and not in Florida.

Overall, we are extremely happy with the work that Tand T Contracting performed, because they worked with us at each stage of the process. After we got the water out of our basement and resolved the claims issues with our insurance company, I asked our claims adjuster if he could recommend a contractor and he suggested that Tand T Contracting did good work, and in most cases, within the parameters of the claim amount. I contacted Tand T and they sent a representative out within two business days to make an assessment of what needed to be done and to prepare an estimate. The estimate arrived within 24 hours and I was able to coordinate the work with my insurance adjuster. The estimate was within $300 (below) what we had to spend and I gave Tand T the greenlight to prepare a contract. They prepared the contract for my review and signature and by the end of the second week, the drywall, painting and baseboard work had been completed. While the drywall work was being completed, the carpet vendor came out and we reviewed samples for the replacement carpet, what things we would need to move around to protect from damage and set an installation date. On the day the carpet installers arrived (at the end of week three), they removed the old carpet and installed the new carpet in 10 hours, which I thought was fantasic considering they had to recarpet an entire finished basement and staircase. At each stage of the review, repair and installation, the Tand T team talked us through what they planned to do, were on time (or ahead of schedule) and were courteous and hard working. Nobody tried to pressure us into getting something done we didn't want to do. They offered suggestions about whether we wanted to change carpet colors, but that was the extend of any modifications that they suggested. Everyone involved in the process was highly professional. If I had a need for more work in my house of this nature, I would go right back to them for an estimate.

After the derecho of June 29, we had a hole in our roof, a broken skylight, and internal ceiling/drywall damage from the impact of the trees hitting the roof. Tand T were referred to me by a pre-screening system my insurance company uses. Tand T were able to come out for an estimate pretty quickly, and were exactly on time. The estimate was sent rapidly and was very detailed and specific with photos, sub-categories of charges, etc. My insurance adjuster had some different ideas about how much repair to do, so Tand T revised their estimate and matched all categories of repair. (their estimate process took far longer than any other part of the process.) Once Tand T revised their estimate, I was ready to go and they came in a matter of days. They fit me in and I didn't even have to be home to unlock the gate, etc., since they were getting on the roof anyway. By the time I got home from work, they were almost finished--and when they were they swept up the debris and trash in the street before they left. A few days later the inside team came and did a fabulous job on the drywall repair and re-painting. They were more thorough (and faster) than I imagined. Again, extremely prompt. Billing was handled easily and my Tand T rep was always available via email to ask questions, etc.

Tand T was very professional, knowledgeable and trustworthy. I am VERY fussy and was up front about this from the beginning. They accommodated my esthetic and helped talk me through construction and design obstacles so that I could get the best possible product that would suit both my taste and my life style. Tand T referred me directly to different vendors for tile, fixtures, counter-tops etc. and helped me re-use materials I wanted to salvage. They stood by all the sub-contractors with whom I was impressed and did work with me so that I could do a little of the work myself where I had the expertise to save a little money. I did have one problem, one time, with a painting sub-contractor but Tand T had the problem rectified right away. I was always comfortable with all the people sent to my home and felt the security of my home was maintained while they worked. I would absolutely recommend them and would re-use them in the future. They will help you solve your construction dilemma's and achieve a high quality product that will increase the esthetic and investment in your home.

Tand T performed emergency services after a serious fire in our house. We subsequently selected them to do the rebuilding of the house. All work was performed professionally and in a timely manner. They assisted us with selection of kitchen cabinets and appliances. They worked closely with our insurance company to ensure all required work was covered by our claim.,
