The entire project from first meeting with Bill Marshall the owner of Signature and on site supervisor, to the end of the project, which was completed yesterday 8/12/2020, was very well done and met our fondest hopes. This is a first class roofer! They were always on time. The site was cleaned as they went. Our extensive plantings were not disturbed. Bill's suggestions always improved the appearance or functionality of the roof / gutter system. We are extremely pleased with the quality of the work and the appearance of the result. We would unhesitatingly recommend Signature Roofing to any one seeking a superior roofing company.

Mr. Marshall is a dependable straight shooter. He replaced some shingles over the years and told us the roof would last a few more years without replacement. (He did not try to push a full replacement before we really needed it.) After the last major windstorm, it was time for a full replacement. Again, Signature roofing's price was excellent, materials top notch, workmanship was great, and cleanup was complete. Mr. Marshall was personally on-site overseeing his crew, some of whom have been with him for over 20 years.

The work was accomplished with awesome professionalism and quality. They did not cut corners and accomplished everything requested and contracted without any prompting. They provided several innovations that added to the appearance of my roof and to the curb appeal. Bill Marshall the owner handled all the pre-work/contract discussions and was extremely helpful in answering my questions and concerns as well as gaining HOA approval of the roof color selected. Bill was on site every day overseeing the work and keeping me informed of the progress and next stage of work. I would use Signature again without any question and would highly recommend them to anyone needing roof repair or replacement. Quality work by a highly professional firm.

A neighborhood friend had his roof replaced by Signature and recommended the company to me. I got estimates from Signature and two other companies and studied roofing company reviews on Angie's and Checkbook. Chose Signature and I am extremely pleased with the result. Now I want to add my A+ rating to the many that Signature already has. The whole experience was good. You deal directly with the owner, Bill Marshall, at every step. He provides the estimate, helps with decisions on color and options, schedules the work and is on site most of the time while the work is being done. The installation crew members are year-round, long-time Signature employees - no sub-contractors or seasonal hires. They are experts and clearly take pride in the quality of their work. It was not done in one day and to me that was a plus. They were more concerned about doing it right than doing it fast. I recommend this company without any reservation.

As the best contractor I've ever had the pleasure to deal with, I found Bill's knowledge of product attributes, application requirements, and warranted performance second-to-none. He not only knows his products, he takes the time to explain their advantages and disadvantages, features and benefits in comprehensible terms, and follows through with the rigid application standards intended by the manufacturer, including the extended warranty the products are capable of. He also took the initiative to investigate and resolve a long-standing gutter problem caused by improper installation during construction. Despite the numerous tall, deciduous trees on the property, new gutters with Gutterstuff have required neither cleaning, clearing, nor thought since, other than to admire their appearance. job was completed in one day, and the workers cleaned up and took all the debris with them. Owner of the company stayed on site the entire time and was willing to answer any questions I had along the way. I was very impressed with the workmanship and final result! 

Excellent work, fast, thorough, superb service.  This is the second house Bill has roofed for us and we will use him for our roofing needs as long as we can.  Bill supervises all of the work and will provide unbiased objective advice.

It couldn't have gone better.  The crew was prompt, professional, polite and cleaned up after themselves.  The owner, Bill Marshall was onsite and answered any questions I had, going up on the roof and taking pictures so I could see what he was talking about.  Ahead of time he dropped off shingle samples that I had picked out and he added in some he thought would also work.  I ended up picking one of his selections and the roof looks great.  He was a pleasure to deal with and I've already recommended him to a friend.

Excellent experience. Provider acted as a consultant with recommendations on scope of project and color selection for the shingles. Provided recommendation on ventilation and gutters. Took time to answer all my questions and explain thoroughly what he was doing and why. Fair and reasonable price compared to other estimates received..

I could not be more  satisfied with the service  provided.  Bill Marshall told me that new gutters would not resolve my roof leaking problem; but I still wanted the old gutters replaced.  Bill was so motivated to identify the cause of my leaking problem that he had his guy temporarily remove some shingles on the back side of the garage and determined that the flashing was not properly overlapping under the shingles.  Because of this discovery, the company that installed the roof eight years ago, installed new flashing that is three times the size of the old flashing without charging me..  Bill also devised a way to prevent excessive rain water from bouncing off my screened porch roof unto a bay window.  He did not charge extra for uncovering my roof leak problem and for replacing three sections of fascia board that were rotted.  His bill was close to $500. less than another company's earlier gutter and downspout replacement estimate. As another reviewer noted, it was an unexpected pleasure to deal directly with the business owner. My new gutters  and downspouts look great.

Both jobs that Bill has done for us went very well.  The gazebo was more of a problem because we didn't know the support boards were rotted as well as the roof having deteriorated.  As mentioned above, Bill thought quickly and found a solution that didn't cost an arm and a leg.  The easy solution was much more expensive.  He described it, but found a solution that protected our gazebo while looking good, and that fit our budget.  It took him more time since he had to go to the store to buy supplies, but they still finished the same day they started.  Our earlier whole house roofing went very smoothly and as mentioned looked much better due to Bill's advice.
On that previous job, Bill went over all of our options for improvements such as anti icing liner at the edge, roof ridge vent which we did not have at that time, etc.  As a result, we received a roof that met all current code requirements, protected us from extremes of weather, and provided for the greatest home comfort.  We could not have been happier with Signature Roofing.

Bill and his team are simply outstanding. The combination of quality work, price, and service is unbeatable. Another roofer, while trying to make me feel bad about choosing a different company than his, cracked on Consumer Checkbook and Angie's List saying their reviews were and quot;all liesand quot; and fabricated. How sad. Well, I'm a real customer who is incredibly satisfied with the work Signature did. Bill was on site the vast majority of the time, and his manner was very professional, calm, and soothing. His team was outstanding. I can't recommend him more highly.

Bill Marshall and his crew arrived on time, worked a full day, and left the premises completely clean each day that they were here. They were always respectful of us and our property. We have never seen a more meticulous crew in the way that they worked and then cleaned. Their work ethic is unmatched and a rare attribute these days.

They are well read and we really like that it's a small company. We really like the owner who came out and did the actual assessing. They seem to be honest and straightforward and had a good price. They did their work competently and promptly. We would use them again in the future if we ever get the roof replaced. It seems like an honest company that isn't going to try to do more work than he actually need to do.

We have been very pleased with Signature Roofing from start to finish. We were first impressed with this company's work to replace our rear gutters in 2008. When we had roof problems in the summer of 2013, we called them for help. The owner, Bill Marshall, came out quickly to do a low-cost roof repair and gave us an estimate to replace our roof. (We definitely needed a new roof, there was significant rot in several boards due to unpatched holes from when the siding was replaced.) We decided to wait till the spring to avoid financing the roof replacement. In March, 2014 we got estimates from several roofing companies, including Signature Roofing. All of the estimates came in around the same price point. We knew we could trust Signature Roofing to do a great job, so we went with them.
Communication with Bill was great, he was accessible via email and phone, which I appreciate. He took photos of the hole in our roof last summer and shared those with us so we would understand the problem and his short-term repair. For our roof replacement he provided both a and quot;valueand quot; estimate and an estimate with higher quality materials and longer warranty. (We went with the latter). Bill is very knowledgeable about roofing and gutters, he took the time to answer our questions and explain the materials and the process. When I suggested that we should maybe replace our front gutters along with the roof, Bill said that we didn't need to--that the crew would clean them out and reattach any loose runs, and that our existing gutters were fine. He could have easily made more money off of us with the gutter replacement, his advice to save us money was well appreciated.
The job was done efficiently and the clean-up was thorough. The crew replaced several damaged roof boards and installed CertainTeed Landmark AR architectural shingles and a and quot;shingle overand quot; ridge vent. The job took about a day and a half for the crew of 3 men. They took care to do the job right, and then took the time to clean up after. The Signature Roofing crew is made up of men who have worked with the company for years, and their experience was evident in the quality of their workmanship. I would definitely hire this company again, but they did such a good job that I won't need to. Hopefully you can use them!

Ever wish for the days when an experienced company owner would deal with you personally and personally supervise every aspect of the job? This is what Signature Roofing gave us. Everything was done to our satisfaction and more. For example, it was important to the owner that the gap between our home and add-on garage not be noticeable even though it was a construction fault (i.e., not his) and not a big concern to us. When the gutters came back with a slightly different color from the sample, the owner made sure that would be okay with us. Finally, one of their guys even connected a new gutter under our low deck -- something another highly-rated roofing company who bid a considerably higher price refused to do.

Signature is rated very highly in a variety of categories so we contacted Bill to request an estimate. We began our discussions with Bill in early March and from that time until our roofing job in mid-May we had a very positive experience. Bill is very knowledgeable and experienced and explained our options regarding the materials and the techniques of the job. He was very thorough and extremely patient with us when we peppered him with question upon question. We appreciated the fact that he responded to all questions very promptly and in a very open manner. He never got annoyed or defensive, even when we asked him tough questions.
