I am pleased that the float switch replacement includes a 1 year warranty.
Only problem is that they left my tank uncovered and the distribution box uncovered and we had a big rain storm that then promptly filled up the tank that they had just empty and flooded out my distribution box. They should have covered up the tank and the box but instead they decided to flood my system.
They promised to be back out by weeks end. Never heard another word. I called and called and called and it wasn't until I called from a number different than my house number that the owner, Ronnie Thomas actually answered. Then he didn't remember me and told me that he would need to review his records on my job and he would be back out and he would empty the tank again since it filled back up because they left it uncovered. Of course, what he didn't mention what that this would be at my cost.
Next thing I know, some girl from his office is calling me with a proposal. This proposal was to do the work originally promised for $450 only the proposal was now for $1250.00. So they not only didn't do the work as promised when promised for the price promised, they made my septic issue worse by flooding out my system by leaving it all uncovered and then didn't show back when promised and then raised the price on me.
I called the owner and his lame excuse was that he changed his mind on the price we agreed too, he said he "just couldn't do it for the price he quoted me". Rather than just brushing me off and leaving my system open for damage, he should have been an honorable person and just called me and explained that he couldn't do it for 450 but instead he just left me hanging. When I told him he left me worse off, he said well he figured I would need it pumped a few times. So I was also now being billed in addition to the "proposal" of $1250.00 now I was billed for the cleaning that they did which they left uncovered!!!! I told the office girl who kept calling me that I was giving it over to my attorney and not to call me again and then i hung up on her and she promptly called me back and left a nasty voice mail message for me. Then she told the owner that I "cursed" at her which was an ABSOLUTE LIE. Then he starts calling me and leaving angry voice mail messages for me with a very threatening overtone telling me I better call him back. I did return his call and left him messages of which a few days would go by and he would then leave me another message asking why I wasn't calling him back????? Very weird situation, very unprofessional, office staff that lies, owner that changes prices on you and leave you worse off.
Long story short, I paid the VERY high fee he charged for a VERY subpar job cleaning the tank and had someone else address the problems. I do have pics of the mess they left behind with water sitting on the uncovered tank and the cleanout the owner promised to spray down that was never touched.
Good luck if you use this guy. Get EVERYTHING in writing up front because he has no issue giving you one price and then changing his mind. Also, stand there and watch them work to make sure they do everything they agree too and that everything is covered back up. Better yet, be safe and don't use this company.
Great. We have a septic field at a higher elevation than our septic tank, so we have a pair of pumps that get the waste up and out. When the alarm for one of the pumps started to go off, we were a bit dismayed that a number of septic companies wouldn't return phone calls or otherwise give us the time of day when we had a failure that could lead to a very messy end.
Septiclean was prompt in returning our call and coming out to evaluate the system. It turned out that we needed to replace one of the two pump, and he had us replaced and good to go the next day. (it was later in the day, so he couldn't get the new pump the same day.
I actually wasn't here when they came, however, they did a very fine job and we actually had them scheduled to do a clean out as well of the major tank and the gentleman called me and said that my tank was clean and didn't need it so he ended up saving me $150 that way.
Septi Clean also took care of notifying the county that our tank had been cleaned in accordance with the county ordinance.
