Scott does excellent work.

Scott was excellent to work with. He provided an estimate, and picked up the table at an agreed upon time. When he delivered the finished product, I could not have been more pleased. The quality of his refinishing work was second to none, and closely matched the overall color of the table prior to the fire. Once I saw the table, I knew that I had made the correct choice in having the table refinished vs. buying a new replacement table.

The work was excellent. I would recommend him highly. He was professional, he was friendly and courteous, and he performed amazing restorations on my furniture.

Scott did a beautiful and professional job. He collected the furniture to take to his shop and returned it in about a month. Even though I've owned the set for many years, I'm enjoying it like it's new. Also very sentimental seeing it for the first time as my parents did the year they married. Scott says this should last another 70 years or more. It's worth investing in well made older furniture.

We had deep scratches on the tops of two dressers.  Scott picked up the furniture on time  and delivered the furniture on time (p/u and delivery is included in the cost).  He did a wonderful job refinishing the tops--the furniture actually looks new again (it's 40+ years old).  We definitely recommend Scott for all your refinishing needs!

Scott picked up the table top and promised it before Christmas. The table was finished in time and looks great. A very professional job.

He picked up the furniture in August and said it would be about 5-6 weeks but it wasn't. I finally got the furniture back around Novemeber 10th, when I asked for a discount for taking so long and he said he couldn't offer me any discount and walked out the door. I would not recommend him to anyone.

I met Scott about fifteen years ago. He refinished an armoire that my great grandfather built. He did such a marvelous job that I remembered his name all these years. Recently I Picked up a kitchen table that had been painted white and had been used as a craft table. I really liked the detailing and the size so I took a chance on refinishing. Scott brought my vision to reality. He removed casters, brought the top back to original pine finish. Apron and legs were finished in distressed black. Buffet was an auction find that he also finished in distressed black. This piece had a couple of pieces of veneer chipping off that required fixing prior to refinishing. Gorgeous!

It was great. The table top had water damage that went below the previous finish surface. You cannot tell that it was ever damaged. We were going on vacation and Scott worked with us on pick up and return times. He was also on time for every appointment he made with us.

Contacted Scott after seeing positive feedback on Angie's list. We scheduled an appt for an estimate and he was right on time. He gave me a quote- the table needed to be refinished and there was also a corner on one end where the veneer was missing (about a 2 inch patch). Unfortunately, his estimate was more than I wanted to spend although I didn't find it to be outrageous. I've stripped furniture in the past and had to weigh the expense against other projects we are trying to get done. That said, he gave me a quote to fix just the corner which is what I ended up doing. I set an appt and then stripped the table down.
LIke the first appt, he was right on time. Though I didn't use him to prep and finish the table, he gave me valuable information on the best products to use and all the steps I should take (some of which I'd never done on other home projects). I was very grateful that he'd spend the time and provide the information - especially since I only hired him to repair the corner and not to refinish the whole piece.
The corner is repaired - you can't even tell there was a piece missing! It looks AWESOME! I would absolutely use him for future projects and recommend him to anyone in need of furniture repair/restoration.

We inherited a dropleaf coffee table which was in unusable condition with broken wood pieces and a top that was what we thought damaged beyond repair.We wanted the table for sentimental reasons but after the first couple estimates, which were twice as much as Scotts, we thought the table was headed to the trash heap. Even though Scott only had two reviews on Angie's list both were all A's. His price was reasonable enough that we thought it was worth a try.He did an AMAZING job on the table!!! He removed all hardware before repairing and refinishing. It is in showroom condition. We have referred friends to him and will use him again when the need arises.If you are looking for someone to repair or refinish a piece of furniture....don't look any further...Scott will do a better job at a lower price.

He is really good, reasonable, and does excellent work.

Highly recommend Scott for his workmanship. I'm now not ashamed to show the actual table.

He is prompt, professional and does an incredible work. I am absolutely shocked by what he did with the table which I believed to be ready for the trash. He also went overboard with helping put on the casters with the table once he arrived, including drilling new holes in the legs, inserting missing screws and the like. I highly highly recommend him and will definitely use him again.

This was a lot of work; it was a big job. I think his pricing is pretty fair. I will use him again in the future.
