RJ Wren was the third contractor we had requested to consider a strategy for restoring heat because the outside compressor unit of our heat pump was not working. Roy Wren was able to recommend a solution that was $2000 to $5000 cheaper than the other two estimates by replacing only the outdoor unit and reconfiguring the indoor airhandler unit to handle the newer Puron refrigerant that the new outdoor unit requires. Roy came by on 12/23 to review the situation and provide his estimate, noting that because of the holidays he would not likely be able to return until the week of 12/28. He called first thing Monday, 12/28, showed up an hour later and by 12:30 PM had completed the work professionally, quickly and with no mess.
