Overnight our L.P. heating unit stopped blowing air. I had to manually start spinning the blower motor each cycle through the night and it would only blow hot air for about 5 minutes before it shut off again, so it was on and off all night but. (I may have not gotten sleep, but I didn't have frozen pipes or family.) I wasn't able to try and contact an HVAC contractor until about 11 AM and I sent a message to Richard asking if he would be available to help out. Told him what the furnace was doing (starting the cycle, inducer motor, igniter & burners started, but then the blower motor did not engage and the system shut off. He had a stacked up day already but managed to run by Goodman shop and pick up a new motor (I had to give him my furnace information) and he came by in the evening to install it. the Goodman service person had given him the wrong product but he had a suitable substitute in his truck and got it all working by 9 PM no problem. I have to say, it is nice to be in business with somebody that cares about what they do. He is a repeat repairman (hired before to repair my inducer motor) and I'll be contracting him in the future - to replace my Goodman builders grade furnace with something much better.
