The contractor and all of his personnel were exceptionally competent and professional in all aspects of their work. We had some complicated technical challenges which the framers handled extremely well indicating their breadth of experience and depth of knowledge and training. Without exception, their workmanship was excellent and exceeded our expectations. Best of all, they were all good, hard working people. At the end of each day, they did a very thorough job of leaving the job site in a clean and organized manner.
Tulio Quintanilla, the owner, was especially diligent and knowledgeable, and was involved daily in every aspect of the job, even though the job site was quite a distance from his location. He did an outstanding job of supervising the work and performing quality control. Best of all, he named us as additionally insured with an A1 rated insurance company without being asked. He also referred other contractors to us who were among the best with whom we have worked so his network is superb and invaluable.
Regarding pricing, they were not the low bidder on all aspects of the job; however, they were always close and their pricing was excellent. The low bidders were not as thorough with their bids, left out a number of aspects of the jobs, and appeared to be "back of the pickup truck" people. Also, the lower bidders were not insured, licensed or bonded. Quintanilla had all of these bases exceptionally well covered yet his bids were very, very competitive.
Finally, the Quintanilla team members were always on time, always showed up at the job site when they said they would, followed up on their work and the work of the contractors they referred, and were exceptionally responsive to our requirements which were sometimes more demanding than usual.
I have been in the remodeling business as a general contractor and homeowner for over thirty years. I have rarely seen as good a contractor as Quintanilla. He and his people are among the best with whom I have worked and give them my highest rating and respect. Hire them. You will be extremely satisfied with their work and their value.
