Very friendly and helpful staff at Prince William Garage Door. Set up an appointment that fit my schedule to provide an estimate. The estimate was sent by e-mail on the same day as the visit. The old door was taken down and hauled away, and the new door was installed without any issues. The installer was very professional and friendly, and clean up before he left. The door is operating great and looks great. Will definitely recommend to anyone who is looking for a new garage door.

Visited the vendor show room which was nicely set up with all their products. The process of choosing a door and opener with the salesman was super easy; we had some concerns that our garage ceiling was too low to accommodate a standard opener and they showed us a low profile ceiling opener and a 'side of the door' opener with all pricing being open and honest. The estimator came out and did measurements and a visual inspection. We ordered a custom color insulated steel door to match our house and were able to go with the standard ceiling mount opener, and it showed up in 2 weeks. Old Masonite door and rails were removed quickly and new door was installed within 3 hours. There was an issue with the opener that had to be resolved the next day, but the new door is beautiful and we couldn't be happier with the opener which is essentially silent - not like the old days with the chain grinding away. Overall price was extremely competitive, and we highly recommend this company.

Several months later the garage door kept opening and I called after work and they came right over and fixed the problem, something to do with the cold weather and the height the door had to close and the pad on the bottom of the garage door. No additional fee. Several months after that the door would not shut at all. In frustration I called and the owner came right over and after looking at the garage system said I had a bad sensor and replaced it. No additional fee.

It was Saturday morning, just before 8 am when we saw that the garage door had a broken spring on one side. Ours is a large double door and we keep both cars inside. The door would not open, even when the door release was used, so we had a real problem.
We called Prince William Garage Door at 8:15 am, talked with a nice lady who quickly understood the problem and called Jason. Jason told us what the price would be, and we agreed. He was at our house 20 minutes later and had the door repaired within a half hour.
So, from the time we saw the problem until the door was repaired was about an hour and a half. Unbelievable.

The guy showed up on time, performed fix action on the door. Discussed problems with the existing opener. Scheduled installation of the new opener on the spot. Arrived to install the new opener on time.

When I made the initial call, the man on the phone asked Some questions about what size garage we have and what the problem was, and provided an estimate over the phone. Repair was scheduled for within 48 hours. Louie, the man who completed the work for us, was extremely nice. He called prior to the earliest estimated arrival time to get better directions to our house and was there exactly on time (I love it when they show up at the beginning of the window). He was friendly and kind to me and my little boy, seemed very knowledgeable, and I felt completely comfortable the entire time. He worked quickly and gave me info on how to maintain the parts in the future, leaving behind an empty can of lubricant so I would know which type to buy. The amount I paid matched the estimate I was given over the phone. I would definitely use them again.

We met Prince William Garage Doors at a home show over the winter. We were very impressed with their down-to-earth information about their garage doors and the process for installation and sales. The owner came out to meet with us, and we went over all the options for our garage door and decided on the best one for our house - a very solid metal door - not one that will bend or weather over time. All he required for a deposit was the acknolowledgment that we would be buying the door and a hand shake.
The door arrived in the next several weeks and his team did a great job on the installation. We have been very happy with it and it has been a great enhancement to the look of our home.
We had one request to them to come out and adjust the rubber stopper on the bottom of the door that didnt' seem to be sitting quite right/flat after a few weeks, and they came right out and made the adjustment - no cost.
Thank you for doing such a great job! We would recommend you to anyone who asked and we hope to be able to use your services again sometime in the future!
