Best electrical work I've experienced in the DMV.

I will use Parrish in the future. The electrician knew what he was doing.

I had a cracked Value cover on my natural gas generator - they quoted a cost of 425.00 because it is old and said the part of hard to find. They came out and replaced the part - asked for the broken part. He gave me the box - did research and even, I called Kohler - the part from other dealers were from 50.00 to 100.00 and not hard to find. Called Parrish to find out why the charged me 425.00 for a 30 min visit and part. Asked for a breakout of the cost of part and service - they would not give it to me. I asked to talk to a Manager - got told that they have a set price for jobs and would not adjust what I was charged - IF I had know the part was only this amount I would of called around to get another estimate. Beware and ask questions about the parts before you do agree for them to do the work. I am very upset that this job cost me over 425.00 just for the service and a part that was listed under 100.00 at other companies that service generators.

Excellent, they arrived quickly, were upfront about costs. And had the problem fixed in 20 minutes.

Showed up when promised, diagnosed the problem quickly, made the repair, asked if anything else was needed, and service charge was reasonable

Would love to be able to give 0 stars. I started working with Parrish in regards to a hot water heater issue in which they came out three times, with a fairly good experience. No issues were ever resolved but they were professional enough. On 10/5 they came back to replace a part in the water heater and work on all the faucets in the house. Upon the technicians leaving, as one was being trained .... I noticed the hot water heater was not put back together .... There was a mess of water in two bathrooms which was not wiped up nor was I asked to clean it .... And the kitchen sink faucet no longer had the spray function working. They could not get the restrictor out of the fixture ... broke the faucet .... replaced the fixture and walked out. Clearly excellent training was being provided here. I called Parrish to inform them of the broken faucet and lack of professionalism on 5 separate occasions since the 5th. At first i was told that the technician would call me back and walk me through how to fix the sink faucet. The next day the receptionist who answered the phone said she would submit a request for a manager to call me, which could take up to three days. I waited another two days, called back to check on the status of the manager calling me, and was told my request was cancelled because there was a misunderstanding on how to move forward, where i advised again that the sink is still broken and needs to be fixed. Called back again and was told that Parrish would no longer speak to me, have a technician or a manager call me they would only talk to my landlord. My landlord has now been calling Parrish for over a week, and there is still no contact from anyone at Parrish to accept responsibility for leaving my home a mess, for breaking the kitchen sink faucet or to find a solution to fixing the faucet. No one has apologized, no manager contact, no technician contact. There is no management or anyone managing the people in this company. Bottom line .... For anyone looking for professional service or any level of decent customer service from Parrish.... You are looking in the wrong place. If you expect a company to take responsibility for their work and ensuring customers are happy .... you are looking in the wrong place. I would not recommend or use this company as they are unable to follow up on phone calls within a two week timeframe, nor do they understand their responsibilities when they arrive at customer homes or how to resolve issues left by their own technicians. Literally any other company in the area would do a better job than this. Go anywhere else for service.

My overall experience was excellent, but I would give much of the credit to the technician who performed the job. He showed high level of proficiency and patience on performing the inspection under the sun on hot day. I am thankful.

Honest, reliable and professional. Came on time, did the job and was cost reasonable. I could not be happier.

They are a flat rate company. This means that you will pay $592.00 if the work takes 2 hours or less for a plumbing repair. It does not matter if you purchase a $180 pump beforehand so that they just have to install it. When you call customer service to schedule, they will tell you about the $106.00 diagnostic charge, but not the flat rate. For plumbing repairs? Go to a different company.

The team as a whole was great. Open communication from start to finish, knowledge and experience is second none. Alan is a professional all the way through from video assistant to breaking down my plethora of questions. Will recommend to any first time home owners and looking forward to working with again, if and when that time comes again.

Parrish Services Inc. should be the only company you ask for!!! Just let them know what you need and all of your needs will be met!!! First time using them and we are going to sign a service contract with Parrish to take care of our annual inspections for my heating and AC unit!!! Very good people to work with! 10 STARS!!!

Love that the team offered to FaceTime to help resolve our hvac issue prior to putting in a service call. Alan was able to get one of his techs out same day. Our tech Joe was awesome. While their initial service fee is a bit higher than most they were professional, proficient, knowledgeable and had the necessary parts on hand to resolve our issue while on site.

Awesome customer service. Called me and used Zoom to troubleshoot and resolve the issue.

Knowledgeable and professional. A good company. Prices from competitors were better, but you get what you pay for. I just purchased the unit. So far so good. Highly recommend.

The technician was timely and took care of general yearly maintenance. I wished we had used them to install our generator! We will recommend to others and use again

Without a doubt, I will call this company for any future needs. Last year, I had regular maintenance done on my furnace and they scared the crap out of me when they told me I needed a bunch of work done and repairs on my gas furnace. I held off and crossed my fingers all last winter and decided this year was finally time to face it... so began the phone calls.. then I got a return call from Parrish services. Alan, the owner, came to my house at 7 p.m. on a Friday to do a check on my gas furnace. This was after one company told me it would be a $6800 replacement job, and another told me $69 bucks just for them to come look at it and even then they would only tell me they'd call me Monday morning to confirm and then call me at some point Monday to let me know then they were within 30 minutes of being here, but couldn't give me any idea of what time that would be. Ugh. Add to the mix that I'm a single mom and I used to just pick up the phone and call my dad for advice on EVERYTHING.... he passed away a little over a year ago and this was the first major home issue that I had where I couldn't get my dad's advice... let the meltdowns begin... Alan came and put all my fears to rest. He was completely honest and said he didn't think I really needed to do anything right now. My furnace was clean as a whistle, was running fine, and he didn't see any reason to replace or repair anything. I had the filter in backwards, but ooopppsss... lol.. luckily I had another one, so that was a quick swap all was right in the world again. As a woman, it can feel like I have a great big red bullseye on my forehead when I start talking about home repairs to some of these contracting companies.... Parrish made me feel completely comfortable, explained everything, and treated me with the utmost respect. They're one of the few good guys out there that really just want to do right by their customers and aren't out to nickel and dime anyone or use scare tactics just to get a commission. Hands down, they got my business without question. Thank you Alan and all the Parrish crew!!!

excellent workmanship; very prompt service;

The twelve year old heat pump (original installation) servicing our upstairs zone had a persistent freon leak and needed replacement. Alan, the owner of Parrish Services, responded to my HomeAdvisor request and offered to come out at 6PM on a Saturday evening to assess the situation and provide an estimate. He started with a heat pump/air handler combination at the same capacity as my current system and presented a couple of upgrade options as well (I ended up going up half a ton since the old system had struggled on some of the hottest days). Since we would be switching to a new refrigerant, another installer had insisted I would also need a new line set. Alan checked with the manufacturers of his systems (Trane, Bosch) and determined the Trane system could use the existing line set, while removing the more expensive Bosch system from consideration. He was also very patient and timely in his responses as I asked several follow-up questions over the next several days regarding line flushing procedures when switching refrigerants. His responsiveness, combined with a competitive price compared to other providers, led me to select his proposal. When the installer showed up (on time) to do a site survey, he was quick and professional and asked me several times if I had any additional questions. Since the job was to include an attic installation on an expected hot summer day, they requested a 6AM start on installation day. The team showed up promptly at the scheduled time and was finished before noon, freeing up my afternoon for other tasks. Throughout the installation the personnel were very professional, polite and courteous. After two weeks the system appears to be running well with no issues. Of course any assessment won't be complete until we experience the heating season with our new system and subsequent routine maintenance, but based upon my experience so far, Parrish is a first-class operation.

Our air conditioning system was not working properly. We called the company that put the system in and their technician told us we needed to install a new condenser. We called Parrish for an estimate on a new condenser based on Home Advisor's recommendation. Parrish Services came to our home, performed a diagnosis, and determined we did not need a new condenser. Ended up saving us thousands!

I had them in for a second opinion on what could be done to fix my air conditioner. The contractor I had before did not tell me the exact reason for the problem nor tell me he could fix it. They suggested the HVAC system be replaced. Parish immediately told me the problem and what could be done to fix my air conditioner. My System most likely will need to be replaced in a year or so and I was given estimates within a very short period of time that we’re very detailed. I had a great experience with them.
