During this visit on 11/14/2015, people arrived after me and were called back before me. Not one person in the office alerted me upon arrival that they were backed up and there would be a wait. Not one person apologized for the wait or thanked people for their patience. After the visit I asked why there was such a long wait and was told that they were backed up and something about how many doctors were working. I also inquired as to why people were called back before me who arrived after. I was told that I arrived early for my appt and the one person I specifically asked about had an appt before me. So I said she was late then. I arrived at 10:10am for a 10:15am appt and the woman with the hound arrived around 10:30am and therefore if her appt was before mine, then she was late. It was just one excuse after another. I really like Dr. Fuller and I drive 25 mins one way to come to Morganna. However, with the attitude of the staff and the long wait ( my dogs didn't even get to see Dr. Fuller this time) I asked for the medical records and stated I would need to find another vet because I could not come and wait an hour or more for my dogs to be seen for each visit. During this whole time not one apology. If someone would have apologized I can assure you it would have diffused the situation and my dogs would be going back to Morgana. I do not understand why they book so many appts knowing they do not have the staff to accomodate.
I also made our appt for boarding in July at this time!
At any rate, they did not bother to verify that she was a shelter dog that came to us with a very bad set of teeth (or lack thereof) and proceeded to blame her mouth on our care for one year. We feed her Blue hard dog food and use Dental Fresh additive to her water which must have caused her 10 years of normal rot in one year. I'm being sarcastic of course. At any rate, we were to purchase a dachshund and had her call to get information on our dog's vaccines. The nasty office staff and vet sabotaged the purchase by telling the seller that we had neglected our beagle (the one that came from the shelter). The seller would not even return any further of our phone calls after she spoke to our "vet" and nasty office staff. When we called the Vet to find-out what exactly they told the seller, they became defensive and nasty on the phone. So, we visited the vet and severed our ties with this place.
It's funny how we save a dog from being euthenized to take-on the dog's large health expenses and get blamed for her 10 years of mis-care prior to getting her. We've spent almost $2,000 on this dog now. This vet is HORRIBLE place to visit if you've adopted a shelter dog. Don't bother as they will condem you for the pet's previous ailments.
I am so glad I switched vets. I feel that my dogs are truly being cared for in their best interests and not just the interests of my checkbook. I appreciated all of the attentiveness of the staff, the comfortable atmosphere and the knowledgeable and kind doctors who examined my pets.
I only wish I had switched vets years ago.
