10/10 would recommend. Frank was extremely professional and has such a talent with his craft. As a one man show, he showed up right on time each morning and single handedly took our 30+ year old orange hardwood floors and made them beautiful again, with a more modern dark twist. Frank extended the hardwood into our living room and you truly can’t tell where the old ends and the new begins. The floors are so soft and smooth and flawless; the pictures just don’t do them justice. Thank you, Frank, for your amazing work! We will recommend you to our friends and family over and over again. Frank, the business owner, is honest, professional, and he and his crew do top quality work. He is flexible, easy to work with, will do more than expected, and keeps you informed. He is reasonably priced and does not try to get every penny from his customers. They refinished flooring in my living room, dining area, hall, and three bedrooms. The work was done in two separate sessions. Where the two areas meet was a perfect stain match. Look no further for a good price and quality job performance.

It was a total package - Frank provided the storage unit for the big furniture, the movers, did the floor work, arranged for the movers to come back, and even helped put pads under each piece of furniture. Frank is a terrific professional who takes pride in his work. His estimate was reasonable. He was to-the-minute on time and the bedrooms he sanded and refinished blend flawlessly with the adjoining hallway. We have used Modern Hardwood Floor Service for three jobs. When we lived in NOVA, Frank installed pre-finished hardwood along our main level, and it was beautiful. It changed the whole look of the house in such a positive way! Then we moved down to Richmond, and Frank was nice enough to come down twice. Once to install LVT in our basement, and the other to install hardwood in our kitchen/dining room. For each job Frank has been on time, courteous, and fair priced. Highly recommend!
