This installation went flawless! We called Roger in desperation after three previous carpenters either turned us down or were unable to perform the job, and another well intentioned handyman made such a terrible mess of the upstairs balustrade we had to ask him to stop working. Roger showed up and had an immediate sense of what needed to be done.
The morning of the job, Roger had all the right tools, displayed a tremendous amount of experience and know how, and took his time to do the job right. This gave us a great deal of confidence that this job would finally be done right. He seemed like an artist with newel posts and bannisters; he completely fixed the previous handyman's well intentioned attempt on the upstairs balustrade and completed the repairs and reinstallation in less than an hour. He installed the downstairs balustrade and stairwell bannister and was done around lunch time. It all looked great! We are very pleased with his work.
Roger and Mitre Contracting were there when we needed them. They gave us a fair assessment of how long the job would take and how much it would cost, took the time to do a professional job, yet still completed the job on budget and early, and left our home in better shape than when they arrived. I would definitely go with them again.
