Mid Atlantic Heating and Air Conditioning LLC

If it was an option I would give no stars. First, they give me 10-2pm appointment then they don't show up at the appointment time. They try to be slick and not coordinate the appointment time with my home warranty company and was just verbal with me over the phone. I found out when I called my home warranty company about them not showing up and I was informed that Mid Atlantic company operates till 5pm and to give them time till 5pm. Then I call Mid Atlantic, they ask if they can come tomorrow and I said no since my dad had been waiting since 10 am. Two Mid Atlantic Techs come close to 5pm who do not know what they are doing and keep going back and forth, so I explain to them how my Furnace is tripping the power. I have to tell him step by step what is happening since they lack ability to diagnose properly, and advise them them accordingly. Tech tells me they will talk to manager if the compressor needs to be replaced but recommends outside and inside unit to be replaced and that the manager will call me back. I get a call with the manager stating he will try to have system replaced, and I told him of course it is over 17 years old. I kept reaching out to manager and he keeps saying he will call back and that he is trying to get unit replaced, but he does not call back. Eventually he stopped picking my call. I call my home warranty company and they tell me that Mid Atlantic stated that customer was rude, demanding whole unit to be replaced whereas Mid Atlantic stated that compressor needs to be replaced. I told the home warranty company that all I need is my heat working, it is freezing outside, and whatever needs to be done, I need that taken care of simple as that, and informed him of the whole scenario. I took time to write this review so no one else goes though this nightmare experience especially in this chilly weather.

They showed up on time as they promised, they addressed and resolved my issue in less than an hour, and had my unit working as it should! They also answered all my questions and didn't mind me watching what they did or how they did it!

After waiting almost a week for them to come back, the service technician came and said he put in a new control board. The heater worked for a couple of hours and then went out again. When we called Mid Atlantic they said they needed to take pictures for the warranty company, but they never contacted us again. We ended up getting two other companies to check it out, and they verified that the control board was never replaced. The heat exchanger was the problem all along. We reported this to our warranty company who said they considered that fraud on the part of Mid Atlantic.

Everything went really well and was a lot easier than anticipated. From setting up an appointment to having the A/C unit looked at, the entire process was handled with extreme professionalism. It didn't take them long to figure out the problem and what needed to be done. A really big plus for me was that they didn't try to sell us on buying different parts or services just to bring up the quote. They realized what needed to be done and gave suggestions when warranted. We also had to get some parts ordered in from the company, but the rep handled everything. It was a really good experience overall and would definitely use their services again.

Receptionist answerd right away. They had someone come in the next day to diagnose it. They immdiately found the problem and were able to find the replacement part the next business day and came immeriately to fix it. The AC even though its old is running like brand new

It went great, nice professional company.

They came on time and refill antifreeze and did few things. My A/C is working now better then ever.

The service was excellent. Fast, accurate, friendly & honest. The price was fair and flexible. They came the same day and it's completely fixed. I wouldn't go to anyone else from now on.

Mid Atlantic Heating and Air was contacted to come out and repair our AC unit, The service was great, The company contacted us a day prior to confirm our appointment. The day of the service the Technician contacted us with an ETA. The technician arrived on time and prepared to handle the issue. The overall time of the job was fairly quick considering the technician had to work on both the inside and outside units. The job was completed same day and the technician explained to us what had happened and what he did to fix it. Overall i was very happy with the professional service I received. In the future I will be calling Mid Atlantic Heating and Air.

They were very responsive and professional when they came to my house. They were friendly and clearly explained what was wrong with my air conditioning. Their repairs were clean and quick. They did not over charge me for the parts, or for labor. I would defintiely recommend them over any other company.
