He worked very hard and did extra work to ensure everything was right at a very good price. He spent a lot of time during the estimate to ensure he covered everything that was needed.

We hired Mike to update our home's electric system which included installing a new breaker box, installing/updating more than 60 switches and outlets, installing 4 ceiling fans, installing/updating more than 30 recess lights, and some other electrical work. He was able to complete the whole work within 6 business days, and overall he did a fantastic job. I was able to work with him about the total cost of the work, and we ended up paying a very fair price for this significant project. We will definitely hire him in the future again.

He was friendly and professional. He came by a month prior to the job and gave an estimate. On the day of the job he called to ask if he could come early and quickly installed sconces in the master bathroom. However, I would have rated him higher if he had repaired the drywall where the previous lighting fixture hung. By not doing this, it made the job seem unfinished.

Mike was friendly, communicative, thorough, and very helpful! We bought a 1940s duplex that clearly hasn't had an electrical update since it was built. Not wanting to blow the budget, we asked him to get us functional and safe, so he did just that without trying to upsell us on a major overhaul. He went the extra mile to check our contractor's work (on a kitchen reno) to make sure everything was done properly. Lucky he did, because they had mis-wired a couple of important things, which he fixed. He also explained things as he went, which is much-appreciated by a first-time home owner. We had been double booked, and he had to reschedule our original appointment, but what I really appreciate is that he called immediately to apologize and figure out another time that would work. He worked around our schedule and was on-time, which is AWESOME. He's very friendly, which makes it super easy to work with him. I'll be recommending him to everyone I know and will definitely call him the next time I need any electrical work. Thanks, Mike!

Michael installed an electrical outlet above our range cabinet for a microwave to take the place of the hood. He was able to do this the same day as giving the estimate...AND work around our mess of recently moved in boxes,two small, happy dogs, and infant child. He is easy to communicate with, knowledgeable and skilled in his craft, and does professional and courteous work - he left the area clean, and put everything back in it's place. Overall, a great experience. We'll be having him back to do other projects we have in mind.

I knowingly paid $105 more than what I would have paid if I opted to use the other Home Advisor contractor, because I believe in supporting Veteran-owned businesses. Mike's customer service was awesome and he did a great job. Although going with MAC was more expensive, I am glad that I was able to support a small-owned business that is owned and operated by a fellow Veteran. I definitely recommend MAC.

It was very easy to converse with Michael. He even left to purchase the correct parts which I thought I had on hand. The work was done quickly and efficiently.

Quality of work seems to be good, and communications with him was good (I was not present during the work but talked with him twice on the phone). This could've been a 4.5 star review. However, I can't give higher than a 3.5 star review for two reasons. First, because the cost seems to be high and the invoice doesn't break out any of the costs. Though there were 3 separate tasks, with one requiring parts and labor, the cost for all three were lumped into one line and one total cost on the invoice. This is simply a bad business practice, typically done to hide high marked up line items. Second, because he avoided doing something that I specifically requested (to check with my wife to see if we had two replacement bulbs available or to grab a known working one from another fixture in order to test two fixtures that may have been part of an issue), and instead did it his way, which was to charge me for two replacement light bulbs. Yes, I suppose I could've been even MORE insistent about this, but why should I have to be. I think telling someone two times to do it my preferred way should be enough, especially if the person wants a positive review here and elsewhere. So in summary - the cost of 2 the two undesired replacement light bulbs is unknown to me, but the cost to him is my business.

Didn't fix or properly diagnose issue. Spent over 3 hours attempting to fix problem which worked for a day or so and then repeatedly broke, costing thousands. Offered to comeback and reevaluate it as an additional job, even though they didn't properly complete the first one. They are quick to respond but it is hard to see whether the client is in their best interest or they are just simply looking to make a quick buck. Anyone with a customer-centric, client focus would come back and complete the job properly, not attempt to double charge and waste people's time and money. I wish they offered that, I really do, as I hate having to even write this, but this is what happened to us and it feels like we were just plain taken advantage of. While this company has a lot of good reviews (the reason why we picked them), obviously something has changed because nobody should be treated like that, period. M.A. electricians have positioned themselves in a manner that relieves them of any incentive to actually fix a problem, which should be most concerning to potential customers.
