KCS Heating & Air

Guys. If you've found yourself without heating or A/C, these are the people to go with. We have used them for a couple years now, with most calls for help starting out panicked because the unit was old and always chose to go out right before a heat wave, when we had out of town guests, or when we had a newborn. We've had the pleasure of working with most all of their employees now, and we can't say enough good things. They are friendly, professional, knowledgeable, and respectfully mindful that they are working in someone else's home. Most recently, our HVAC finally failed completely and we had to replace the whole unit. Lindsay, Neal, and Matt were gracious as they dealt with our questions and initial sticker shock so we were comfortable investing as we selected the right replacement for our home. We quickly got on the books and Kieren and Carlos came out to replace the unit. They got the entire thing done in a day, even when a severe storm came through and limited their ability to work outside. They were quiet, efficient, and cleaned up beautifully after themselves. Plus, it was the first day of a record heat wave so we were extremely relieved when the house had cooled 5 degrees in less than an hour! We highly recommend this company, from a family who's experienced them across a spectrum of needs: from checkups, to minor repairs, to major repairs, to complete replacement.

This is the second time in several years we have used KCS for our HVAC. The first time, Neal identified a leak in our system, and resolved it in an inexpensive manner, when he could have easily sold us on a more expensive solution. His honesty is what made us turn to them later when we had a more serious issue in our 15 y/o system. When our A/C died, Neal was able to come investigate the next day. He was able to identify the failure just by listening to the system (which I was able to confirm through my research before he came out). He made an honest recommendation as to solutions. Because of the age of the system, and rust on the condenser, we had the whole A/C system replaced at a cost less than what I was able to price out. It was replaced within several days. New compressor unit (and foundation), new condenser unit, and associated labor. They spent almost 10 hours on site replacing the old system in a tight space. I would definitely hire them again if needed!
