JE Black worked on a commercial electrical project who was contacted by a former friend acting as a GC. There was no contract between the friend/FC and all monies paid for electrical work were paid directly to JE Black by me and not through the GC but Jason refused to speak with us. The former friend/GC withdrew the permits and he refused to respond to inquiries to pull a new electrical permit and see the project through to completion and final inspection. He did come back to fix a wiring error but used a lot of profanity. If you want professional communication and someone to see the project through to completion, look elsewhere.

My wife and I have used Jason for several projects around the house, and he knocks it out of the park everytime. The man is a master in his craft and he brings all that know how to bear on the projects hes done for us. If you want it done right and at a fair cost, Jason is the man you want for the job

Jason was incredible to work with. He did new lighting in my living room, hallways and fireplace room. The difference was absolutely amazing. I went from dark and uninviting to being as bright as I want and suitable for all occasions. I will be bringing him back regularly to upgrade the rest of my lighting. Jason installed 4 flat ceiling lights in my home office. He provided sound advice and recommendations and professionally performed the installation. He was on-time, provided the receipts for all supplies purchased for the job, and cleaned up afterwards. We will definitely hire him again!

Jason replaced my Federal Pacific Panel in my 40 yr old home and added features such as outside grounding rods. His work was reasonable and cheaper than two other bids. He was very thorough and works alone. He ensured we were well versed and had documented the new breaker switches changes. He informed us of the limitations of our current electrical set up and ways that we could counter those limitations. He took care of all county permits for the work. He's a bit abrupt in manner but very professional. Would use again, and had a neighbor who was also very pleased with his work.

Jason is a great electrician and does professional, code compliant work. He is reliable, punctual and friendly. He provides great solutions and offers options where available. His suggestions are insightful and effective. He cleans up the worksite when the job is done. Everything went smoothly and was installed in a timely manner. He made all wall incisions for installation as well as patching and caulking for a professional install. An all-in-one repair!

I could not be happier with the electrical services that Jason provided. I originally called him in to help with a single electrical issue with outlets not working in my house. I had called 3 other electricians in to fix this problem and they were unsuccessful. Jason is super knowledgable and fixed the problems that stumped the other electricians. I ended up needing my panel replaced because of some less than legal work done by another electrical company, and Jason came to the rescue to help replace it. The prices were fair and he doesn't mark up for materials which is great. It was overall a great experience and I would most definitely hire him again!

Great - he even made two trips to Home Depot - once to get bulbs for my new fixtures and again to find a piece of hardware when my own wasn't working out.  Jason is super professional and knowledgeable and was extremely fair with pricing. Highly recommend.

Could not have gone better. 1) The living room fixture required a special ladder to reach the high ceiling. This is a really important story as it goes to character. Not many people own a ladder of this size. Because of that, it has to be special ordered from a rental company that delivers it to your house. Now, if I'm running a company and "I" know this information and "you" as a customer don't, I can charge you an extra fee for this service. All "I" have to do is make a phone call and boom, "you" get an extra fee on your bill. Instead, Jason explained the ladder situation to me, offered to charge me extra if I wanted him to handle it, OR he could give me the exact name of the ladder we needed and a couple of phone numbers to call to get it delivered myself. Arming me with that info, I made two phone calls and saved myself a hundred bucks. For the same visit I also had an issue with a light/fan installation I was trying to do in the master bedroom. He looked at it, figured out the part that was needed to solve the problem, made a quick run to the hardware store and found the part, SHOWED ME THE RECIPT for the part, and made the installation. Worked perfectly and only charged me what he paid for on the part. 2) I had an issue with the power not working on some of the outlets around my house. It's important to note that I'm not at all smart about electrical stuff. So I texted Jason my situation on a Saturday morning. A few minutes later he called me back with what the problem is. Said I needed to locate a specific button and push it to reset everything. He waited on the phone as I went from room to room to find it. No luck. After about five minutes of my nonsense he says "I can come down there and do this for you, but it's literally one button". I looked for a couple more minutes with no luck. Ten minutes later he was at my door, two minutes later he found the button. No charge. This guy's patient, through, knows what he's doing and goes out of his way to do right by his customers. I'm going to annoy him with every home task I can't figure out how to complete until he either retires or blocks my calls, and you seriously should too. Oh, and as a bonus he works with a network of people that have the same values. I've grabbed an HVAC guy from him, consulted with a landscaper, and in about 10 minutes I'm going to hit him up for a Plummer.

Jason is an electrical genius!! He not only professionally installed my outlets without mess and very little drilling, but his craftsmanship and pricing out-match all others. Top-notch electrician who explains what the plan of action will be, so one thoroughly understands what the results will be. I would/have recommended him to others in/outside my neighborhood. Jason is an excellent electrician. When he sees poor workmanship (from previous jobs) in your home, he ensures that is fixed before he even begins to tackle the job he came to do! He is honest and will give you the best price around. He beat out 2 other estimates on the first job he did for us. Now, I won't go to anyone else.  I am planning to renovate my kitchen, bathrooms over the next year or two. Jason will be the one to handle all the electrical components. So glad he was referred to me by a neighbor.

Electrician arrived on time, performed all the necessary troubleshooting to restore power to multiple bad outlets, recessed outlets and replaced bad fixtures inside and the portch light fixture. Electrician was very professional and kept me informed of all the issues as he found them. He did an excellent job and I would use him again and recommend him to anyone who needs electrical work.

Last time I hired an electrician (NOT JE BLACK) It cost us $280 for three guys to come out and change a GFI and Check our panel Box.

He spent an entire day reworking a bad electrical job, making it safe and to code. I have used him in the past and he provides excellent service, cleans up after himself and is reasonably priced for the quality of work. Highly recommend him for any electrical needs.
