Everything was going well until he said he wouldn't go on the roof because the house had a flat roof and was higher than 13 feet or something of that nature. Had he told me he wouldn't go on the roof while we were standing outside of the house I would have called off the whole thing and would have gotten a home inspector who would. He waits until the inspection was half way through to tell me he wasn't going to inspect the roof. The Realtor had to get a roofer to go the next day to check the roof out. The roof is one of the most expensive parts of a house, how can a home inspector not inspect it? Why wait until half way through to say you wouldn't go on it? To make things worse he missed some things that the appraiser found. Granted, those things could have changed after the inspection, but things that were missed were loose sockets, windows not locking, no fire detectors on lower level and the wrong type of hose being used for the washer.

When they came I had to walk around with them and they missed all kinds of things that I thought were important to add value. I didn't like them at all. They were very snobby and didn't take me seriously. They were not professional at all.
