Craft Master responded promptly to our call. The gentleman came out to see the damage, took a section of the damaged shingle to see if he could match it We were given a good quote for the work to be done. It was expected to take a day. I received a phone call later in the day to see if it would be ok for the work to start the next day. The job took about 4 hours. The shingles replaced were close to what we already had. The patch job and replacement of the damaged ceiling drywall looked good. The area that they worked was cleaned up.
We are quite pleased with the work done, speed performed, promptness of response to our house to inspect the job. I would recommend them to others. It's nice to support local businesses.

From the beginning CMC repeatedly demonstrated the ability to understand and exceed my design objectives.  Cost was appropriate and consistent with industry standards.  CMC is truly a "master" at their craft, concerned with the details, and not with the bottom line figure.

Craftmasters was low bidder by 25%. They provided the skill and the materials that that are not seen. We bought the tile, cabinets, tubs, sinks, toilets, lights, holders, and racks. This is a family business that used no subcontractors, so Sam was able to tightly control the schedule. They started on a Monday morning and worked full time 5 days a week until it was done. Every day at least 2 workers were on our job, sometimes 4, depending on what was being done. The jobs were worked in an order that was most convenient to us. The work was fast, high quality and beautiful.A few unexpected problems came up. Once the first bathroom was done, we discovered that the bath tub shower valve I had purchased did not have some features I wanted. The replacement was too big for the hole in the new tile. I expected a major, expensive rework job. Craftmasters worked some magic with a grinder and fixed the problem quickly, cheaply and beautifully. There were also some issues with how my house was originally built that took effort that was not in Sam's bid. When the final bill came, Sam arrived with a complete, detailed breakdown of the costs including receipts and labor hours for this work. These charges were way below what I expected.Craftmasters is focused on pleasing the customer and quality work. Their prices are low and the results are beautiful.

I had to get rid of the contractor because he brought professional people on the first two days. After two days, he pulled them out and he lied to me. He said that one person's ex-wife was dead and the other person's mother was sick. He then gave me some other people and they were not professional at all. There was a big difference between the first group and the second group of people that he brought. I would recommend people not to use their services. They did half the job. We agreed to pay $7800 for the job. When he came to sign the contract, he said that he never realized that we wanted the painting too, which was extra $300 and so, it was $8100. At that point, I was really frustrated trying to find somebody. I didn't say anything since I was fine with it. When we first met, the guy said that he didn't want to get into nitty-gritty and he said that he would do everything that I wanted in that room. I actually wrote my own contract because their contract was very elementary. I used a sample contract from the internet. I made points that I wanted quality work. On the first day, he brought a professional wall guy. The guy he brought for the tile work was not professional. He maybe fine for the average tiles, but my tiles were 12 by 35 high-end ceramic tiles. He put it all over the place and it wasn't done right. He pulled out his tile guy and the wall guy on the third day. He put them on another project and gave me couple of other guys that I guess he found on the street. They did some wall work which was very bad compared to the first guy. On the weekend, we tore up some of the work they did because they did a terrible job. On Monday when he came, he yelled at me for tearing up the job that they did. I told them that I couldn't stand the dust. I told them that my house was covered with dust. My husband couldn't sleep because of the dust even in the bedroom. He tried to give me a bill for the materials. I then reminded him that I gave him the list of materials that I would provide and it was part of the contract. He said that he didn't read the contract. He had told me that he would get the nails and stuff. I didn't mind giving him some of the materials I had. He was lying every single day. He came on Thursday and asked me for the second installment. He first asked me half of the money upfront, which he shouldn't't have because I was providing most of the materials. He asked me $4000. He said that he was paying out of his pocket to the guys and asked me for another $2000. The work was all half done. The walls wer't finished and there was only one coat of paint. The tiles weren't grouted as well even though I gave him another $1000. He then walked out right away since he said that he couldn't work with me. I paid him $3000 totally. I thought that the price was going to be a fair price in the beginning because we included correcting the plumbing. However, he has not done anything about the plumbing. He brought in his son-in-law who is a kind of handyman, but he didn't know much about the plumbing. He wasn't going to do what we agreed on. At the end, I realized that I was going to pay him too much money. When it came to his responsiveness, he came the very same day I called him and his punctuality was fine too. When it comes to professionalism, I don't expect people lying to me. I would absolutely not use his services again.

"When we agreed to do the work for the member, she told me that she had already terminated three contractors due to not being able to work with them. She had been trying for two years to get this bathroom finished, and she was not allowing anyone to complete the work. When we got there, the project was already a mess. She also said she terminated her husband from doing work as well, because it was not up to her standards. The people I put on the job were extremely professional, have been working for my business for years, and have never had these issues before. We tried to please the member, but the work was never up to her standards, and she and her husband actually tore down some work we were doing, instead of waiting to talk to us about correcting it. We agreed to use her contract, and agreed to everything she said, trying to please her each time she was upset. Finally, when it was clear that she was not going to be happy with anything we said or did, we explained we had run out of options to help her. It was very clear she was not comfortable with people being in her house, which made the environment very tense for the workers. The dust was also an issue, which we had explained from the beginning that dust would be present, although we tried our best to keep it to a mininum."
