The service went excellent, the price was excellent, the service tech was excellent, they did additional services without any additional charge, they calibrated the garage door opener, replace the garage door roller free of charge

I thought the price was reasonable. They came out very quickly. I had to step out for about fifteen minutes. He pulled up as I was leaving to pick my daughter up. I asked him to wait, and he waited for me. He helped the UPS guy with an package. He was an nice guy. He was the brother of the owner. He told me to oil certain parts to keep it from doing it again. He showed me the brand of oil he used, and where I can get it from. He did everything we needed him to do. He was very nice. The price was pretty reasonable. They came out quickly. I called him at nine in the morning, and they were here at noon. The told me whoever answered the phone wouldn't be here until four, and we had things to do, and they called and told me they had switched things around, and was able to come before four. I was expecting the price to be a little more.

What great service. They didn't try to up sell us. They didn't have a problem installing a specific Opener brand even though they didn't sell it. On time for inspection and actually installation These guys are our service provider for good.

This company is terrific. They responded immediately, came out the next day and fixed everything beautifully.
Since I had asked for a new keypad, they could have sold me one. Instead, they told me it was an easy remedy and I did not need a new keypad.  Then they cleaned and oiled everything and the door is so quiet now, not scratching against metal, and the keypad works perfectly. 
I am very very pleased and impressed and would recommend them without hesitation.

Spring suddenly broke on Sunday with the door closed.  Called them that afternoon and made appt. for Monday between 12 and 2.  At 1145, technician called and said he was on the way.  Arrived shortly thereafter at the agreed upon time.  He proceeded to disassemble the door springs and fixed a support problem that existed in the door torsion system and then replaced springs.  He then balanced the force on the door and tested several times.  I inquired about future door replacement and he left me a brochure for replacement door and opener.

Ran into my own garage door and clipped a decent section off so I was in the need for either a repair ($600 all-in) for a new panel or a replacement of two doors. I received quotes from 6 vendors and the pricing was all over the board and frankly so was the quality. It came down to Historical Quality of the manufacturer of the doors, insulation value and reputation of the company for installations. End result, received a quote before them from another very reputable local company who I would have used had Cardinal not quoted me over $600 less for the same doors. Cardinal uses Haas Doors and from my research, the quality for price plus level of insulation was a no brainer. Add to that they scheduled, showed up on time, cleaned everything up and made adjustments to my door openers and showed my what I needed to do to maintain the springs, etc. this was an easy recommendation to write. One small item that I didn't realize until they left was that it needs a small adjustment that needs to be made to the doors but nothing that will affect them in the short or long term. This adjustment would not have changed my level of recommendation.

Orlando and his team were fantastic! Great pricing and great service. I had used Cardinal many years ago when my garage door was not working correctly, and was pleased with the service. When I needed to replace my door, I did my homework. I contacted Cardinal and many other companies. I chose Cardinal because of my past experience with them, great pricing, and great responsiveness. On Saturday evening I heard a loud "pop" noise in the garage. I went to investigate and found nothing out of place and didn't give it a second thought until Sunday morning when I hit the button to open the garage. It was then that I realized that one of the steel tension springs had broken.
I contacted Cardinal Garage Door Services via email and received a reply within minutes stating that they could be at my house to complete the repair as early as 8 AM the following morning. I confirmed the appointment and the technician arrived on time the next morning. The work was completed within 45 minutes and the door works great again!
This company is very responsive, shows up on time, and completes the work as expected. This was my second time using Cardinal and I wouldn't hesitate to call them again if/when the need arises.

They came on a Sunday which is rare, and I would hire them again. I have recommend them to others.

The company is rock solid. I called on a Friday and made an appointment for Saturday. I then called at the last minute to move the appointment to Tuesday. They were completely accommodating. They arrived as scheduled on Tuesday and quickly and thoroughly addressed my issue.

No complaints. Technican did what he said and charged a fair price compared to the internet. He came exactly as scheduled both times.

The Sears/Craftsman garage door openers we installed in the mid-1990s needed to be replaced. One opener failed about a year ago and the other was noisy. Another Angie's List company had a coupon/special for $345 for a new LiftMaster opener plus door tuneup (quoted value of $795!), but I had used Cardinal several years ago for some maintenance and reached out to Orlando for an estimate.
He originally quoted me $385 per opener, but since we were a repeat customer the cost for both was discounted to $650. We arranged for the installation on the 16th and the technician arrived on time. Total job took around 2 1/2 hours and the technician (Carlos?) did an excellent job including neatly placing the wires and cleaning up. He also helped to program the outside keypad.
I initially thought that we were getting two remotes per opener, but it was actually 2 total and I needed an extra one for my daughter's car. Orlando was very accomodating and sold me an extra one for cost at $15 instead of $35 retail even though it was my mistake.
Overall, very pleased with the work and I would highly recommend Cardinal. For what it's worth, I would have used them even if the price was $385 ($40 more than the "special" offer from a competitor).

I called them Monday morning and the we here by 10am. This company is outstanding. Very professional and the price beats everyone else. He knew the issue and started right away. Fixed it in less than an hour plus tuned up the garage door opener. Then I had the back up battery in the garage and never changed it but I have it on hand. He replaced that. He did alot more than most contractors. I"ll call these guys again.

We had a great experience with this Company. The owner was extremely responsive and responded to my email within about 15 minutes. I was really impressed because I didn't expect a response back until the next morning because it was after hours. I gave a brief overview that we thought the spring on our garage door had snapped and Orlando indicated via email that he could be out to our house as early as the next day. Very impressive! The next afternoon Carlos M arrrived promptly and fixed our door within about 50-55 minutes. Not only did he replace the spring but he tighted the bolts and lubricated the garage door parts for us. We are considering replacing our garage door since its over 20 years old and he gave great advice and lots of options about how to handle that moving forward. The customer service and professionalism was amazing and we will absolutely use this company again in the future! Couldn't have asked for a better experience.

Just closed on my home and the designated garage door opener installation company for my new neighborhood, did not (and still has not) called me back to get my garage door opener installed. Suffice to say I looked on Angie's list for help. Orlando answered his phone quickly and I asked what his price and he responded immediately and in a gentlemenly manner.
Too many people act as though you need them to perform services but not Orlando. He said someone would get with me shortly. It took about 3 hours but considering the competition, this was phenomenal response time. Carlos showed up at my current residence and followed me to my new home. He installed the garage door opener and programmed my truck's Homelink system to operate the garage door opener as well within two hours.
The unit that I had installed has a plethora of features and he took the time to show me and my wife how to operate it. Not once did he act pressed or anything. Once he finished showing how to use it he went over the paperwork and left his company contact information.
From the start of my home getting built to it's completion, this has been the nicest experience with any contractor bar none. It's a stress reliever to see people still care about what they do.
Since so many homes are being thrown up so fast and many others need garage door service, I highly recommend Orlando's crew. They are a class act.

Upon investigation I found that the torsion spring that counter balances the weight of the garage door had broken. This made the door inoperable. Apparently the spring had deteriorated due to use, age (20+ years), and environment. On Sunday afternoon I searched Angie's List and found Cardinal Garage Door Services had good ratings. I emailed them on Sunday afternoon and surprisingly received a phone call from the owner of the company, Orlando Rodriguez, within 15 minutes. Since I and my wife work, I asked if he could come to the house after we got off work. This was no problem for him at all. We made an appointment for 5:30pm on Monday. At the appointed time a company representative, Carlos, arrived and examined the situation and set about making the repair. Carlos was very courteous, professional, thorough and efficient. In about an hour he had all repairs completed. The garage door operates like a new one. I would recommend this company, without hesitation, to anyone needing garage door service.

my garage doors were installed with our addition about 10 years ago. we have not done any maintenance in that time but they were gradually getting louder and sometimes would halt on closing and reverse. one side had become almost unusable so i was parking outside. the motors seemed fine...the doors were not moving easily.i called cardinal based on angies list reviews. the man was able to come the next day and meet me between 6 and 7pm. i thought that would just be for the estimate. he showed up a few minutes before 7pm (entirely within the committed time).he inspected and told me the pulleys were bad as well as the sprocket bearings on the motors. on closer examination i could see he was right. he was willing to do the repair right then.i thought the fixed fee plus cost of parts was more than reasonable. he only had one new part where he needed two for the motors. he had a used one that was essentially new that he offered me for one third the price of new. i agreed.he stayed until 9pm, doing additional things like lubricating and adjusting and really getting the doors to work well. he took pride in his work and was very professional. they are spectacular now.i would definitely hire this company again.
