A friend had used John for a small move of about 3000 Lbs from Northern Virginia to South Carolina, and highly recommended him to me. I'd been sent referrals to 6 different moving companies, none of which were listed on Angie's list and all of which had low ball quotes and terrible online reviews.
I used Angie's List to solicit more quotes from highly rated companies and received rapid responses from all the A-rated companies I contacted. Those estimates ranged between $1700 and $2500 for moving a small two bedroom apartment from Northern Virgina to Annapolis, MD. After contacting John, I received a quote for $880 and immediately booked the move.
Phone response from John was almost instant and e-mail communication was outstanding. I sent him an inventory of items for the quote and he responded faster than I anticipated.
The week before the move he e-mailed me the package of paperwork detailing the quote and the services to be provided. He told me his plans were to dispatch from his office at 8am and arrive before 9. The crew showed up at 8:20 and immediately got to work. John, Anthony and Ben were careful and professional form the first moment to the last. They were respectful of both homes and were careful with all the furniture. From start to finish... including a little over an hour's drive... It took them just over 3 hours. I couldn't have been happier.I doubt I'd have called John if it hadn't been for the outstanding job he had done for a friend of mine. I'm glad I did. He did an excellent job, greatly exceeding expectations for the price charged. I'm sure I'd have been happy with the services of other companies reviewed here, but at twice the price or more, it would not have been worth it.
Bargain Relo is a small company, though they handle government moves all over the country. I'd recommend calling early and getting them booked since as of today they only book one move a day.

I contacted Bargain Boxes/Relocation services in April for my long distance move.  John was very responsive with his quote. Everything went according to schedule.  They packed, loaded, and delivered all in a 4 day period. My belongings were the only belongings on the truck, his is not usually true with other movers. It was nice that the same people that packed my boxes unloaded them too.  They worked diligently and with a great attitude even though it was an extremely bad heatwave.  I would recommend John and his team for a local or long distance move.

Extremely easy to work with up front. Very polite and totally respectful. Punctual on day of move and had all of the angles covered. Very receptive to questions and responsive to concerns. Just a great team to work with- nice people and definitely pros who did a great job. Can't say enough good things about this experience.

Fantastic crews each time. Very courteous toward each other and friendly with us. Wonderful experience. I wish the real estate transaction had gone as well. I'd use them again. And will recommend them without a doubt.

I was impressed by the professional work provided by Bargain Boxes. They offer two services, providing boxes for people to store and moving. I used them for moving and they did a great job. They were careful with all the possessions and provided the packing materials and boxes. They were very quick to respond when it turned out the remote was broken and replaced it without question. They were reasonably priced.

The company is very responsive, usually communicating by email to set up appointments.
