"I never worked specifically on this project. This project was handled exclusively by my Mother and Father. The only interaction I had with the [member name removed]was to speak with [member name removed] to confirm the change to their cabinet order after the initial order was placed. This change did delay the cabinet order for a week as is the policy of the cabinet manufacturer. I recall it being a rather friendly conversation even discussing Giants and Redskins football. Other than that the job was completed. I did find this review to be rather offensive in how they characterized my Father and Mother. We subsequently found out some of my Father's confusion surrounding the project was most likely related to a brain tumor he was suffering from and was a contributing factor in his death shortly after he completed this project. The last several months have been some of the most trying for my Mother and I. We continue to be in business as we have for more than forty years. I would invite anyone considering our company to come to our showroom and see the countless hand-written thank you notes and cards we've received over the years."
"I have struggled for some time on how to respond to this review. We are a family owned business and have been in operation at the same location since 1973. Leading up to this project my Father, our founder, was suffering from a brain tumor. He made a significant mistake in measuring their kitchen. The type of mistake he did not make in over 50 years of working in this field. But my Mother and I corrected it at no cost to the customer giving them significant credits to alleviate any concerns they had. As a result of that mistake we forced him to go to the doctor who initially diagnosed him with dementia, but upon closer inspection the CAT scan found a large brain tumor. My Father died within 7 days of my taking over this project. I buried my Father and six days later began the [member name removed] project. Their job was completed on time and they enjoyed their new kitchen for the holidays. They refused to pay the final approximately $3,000 they owed for the project for reasons which are still unclear. We just let the final payment go without pursuing it further. We did the job we agreed to do during the most trying of times. The [member name removed] refused to pay the amount they agreed to. For anyone who would be discouraged from using our company for your project I would invite you to come visit our showroom and review the countless hand-written thank you notes and cards we've received throughout our 40 plus years of being in business."
"Mr. [Removed member name] was a wonderful client to work with. He allowed us into his home during a trying time for his family. At the time and now my Mother, Father and I were pleased in working with him"
