This service call was a total disaster. Did they show up on time? Yes, Did they bring the parts they needed for the repair? Not all of them. I spoke to the Service Manager the week prior and provided exactly what valve was being installed and that there was overflow water in the drip tray. They installed all the plumbing when the house was built, so they should know exactly what plumbing was needed (pipes, diameter etc.) They identified that an overpressure tank was needed and luckily they had one on the truck. They sent two guys. One guy moved the water heater in and out (to install the drip tray). That's it, so I paid nearly $800! for four hours total where one guy's just watched the other guy do basically nothing for four hours. The only thing he did (other than move the water heater) was drive to Lowes to buy the PVC parts for the install. Of course while the one guy ran for parts the other guy just stood around. The parts on the truck were the wrong parts! So I paid for them to correct their self-caused problem. They did check the pressure and said it was too high (80 PSI) which led to the overpressure tank blowing. They reset the pressure to what they said was 60 psi then left. That evening we had so little water pressure the faucets barely ran and the showerhead literally "dripped" water-there was so little pressure. I called early the next morning to complain and have someone come by and check the pressure which clearly was not right. The receptionist put me on hold and when she came back she said she had talked to the technican and he said he set the pressure at 60 PSI so there should be no problem. When I stated that just couldn't be correct she said it was "out of her hands" and I would have to talk to the service manager. I asked that I be contacted by him as soon as possible. It's been a WEEK now and absolutely no contact. Luckily the next day I ordered a pressure gauge, got it the following day and checked the pressure myself. Low and behold 40 PSI! that's nearly nothing. So after I reset it to the 60 PSI (Atlas "Claimed" they set it to) all is well. Bottom line, NEVER use Atlas home services, they overcharge, are not prepared and do not provide the quality of service for the prices they charge.

Work was timely, professional, and high quality. Supervisor visited during the job to make sure things were going well and after the work was done to assure our satisfaction. Good firm. Reliable. No hassles. And, nice guys.

Initially I had O'Quinn's Plumbing Service LLC top rated on Angielist come in to fix the issue. After 4 hours , 2 plumbers in the house, several phone calls to another of their experienced plumber and damage pipe pictures later, they decided to only cap the pipe and suggested i get an handyman to drill from main floor into the basement for new pipes as they couldnt get to the original ruptured pipe. They charged me $270 and supposed to send me estimate for the rest of the job which never came. I wasn't comfortable so I ended up Atlas plumbing as they were the original plumber when the house was built. the guy came in took him 45 mins and he was out once the glue dried. No sales gimmicks , knew exactly what needed to be done. These guys are pros. This will always be the company I will call if I need anything. they charge $115 by the hour with one house min. A+++

My home was built in 2002 and the builder left a list of contractors that worked on the house. ATLAS did the plumbing so when my hot water heater stopped working I called them. It was after-hours, but Billy called me and suggested I try to relight the heater. I did not feel comfortable doing it, honestly I don't have a match or lighter in the house. He said they do not do after-hours service for relighting and that I should call in the morning. I was called in the morning and was told that they no longer service Rheem hot water heaters and that no one could help me that day. She offered to provide me the 1-800 number for Rheem. I asked the woman to tell me what Atlas could do for me. She said someone could replace it sometime the following week. She was very sorry. I have mixed feelings about the experience. In the end I had to find another plumber, but Atlas was responsive and called me back, therefore the favorable rating for Responsiveness and Punctuality. I also think that if you install it, then you should service it. No matter what brand you are installing today. Therefore, the poor rating on Professionalism.

The Original Plumbing was done by Atlas Plumbing and my house was built in Jan 2013. I contacted Atlas Plumbing main office number to get some additional plumbing work done in my home. It would be nice to use the same company and keep everything consistent.
After a few attempts i managed to speak with someone at their main number and explained what i needed to be done and she gave me the number of their Install Manager.
Till date, i have called atleast a dozen times and have never been successful in speaking with the Install Manager. So i have left voicemail Several times requesting someone to call back. I got a call back once and unfortunately i was unable to attend, but i returned the call with 2 hours and no response.
I see their Trucks still working on the new homes in my community but it looks to me like either they are too busy or really don't seem to care to return customer's calls. Quite disappointing. I really think that they did good work and now its hard to get a hold of them

Billy from Atlas showed up to fix my water heater. Two days before I had another company come out and they want to charge my $1200 to fix my water heater and they also charged me $120 for diagnostics. Billy took one look at the water heater and determined what the issue was since the error codes were right on the front panel. Billy was in an out in 30 minutes and the total cost of the repair with parts and labor was only $205. I am thankful that Atlas did not try to over charge me. I would recommend them to anyone.
