I would have given 0 rating if it was possible. The parts they sell are below par quality. We have installed HVAc system with them ..in 4 years the motors have went bad twice. They don't even call back to schedule the service . The call center employees are pathetic and don't have any idea how to contact different departments.. I wish I could sue them for their unprofessionalism and their bad tactics of getting money out of the customers.

Understandable this is the peak season for A/C problems but customer friendly service is should be on a consistent basis. On 5/28/2024 problem with my unit tech responded very professionally explained problem with unit that the blower had failed and it had to be ordered. Received text from company stating appointment on 6/5/2024 between the hours of 8 AM - 12 PM customer placed call talked to operator who stated that the tech would call in 15 mins no call received customer then called again where operator took information to forward to allegedly Supervisor no returned call. Customer called local office talked to parts manager who stated that they did call but did not leave a voicemail message and was instructed service would be provided the following day worst experience dealing with a business.

Fantastic. Marco LaFuente-Aranibar diagnosed the problem immediately which was that the heat pump was frozen due to the snow and recent cold weather. He assisted in correcting the issue by resetting the sensor and then standing in the cold and poured hot water on the compressor to ensure that my heat was working before he left. The best thing is that Marco did all this with a smile on his face and he explained what he was doing the entire time. Great customer service.

Spent $24,000 with ARS Mannassas when we installed three new units 4 years ago. Two units were for the house and one for the wine fridge. We have been customers of ARS for the last 15 years. They provide our semi-annual maintenance and had also installed our first units. The wine unit stopped working two weeks ago. We had ARS come take a look at it for $89. They let me know the fridgerant was completely empty… for $600 they could find out where the leak was. It will then cost about $3500-$5500 to fix the unit out of pocket regardless of the 10 part warranty. The repair man said that it was extremely high rate. We attempted to contact the manager four times without a return call. Although they are still scheduled to come to our house tomorrow for the semi-annual maintenance. After the 5th attempt (today) the manager accepted our call. The manager was unapologetic, unprofessional, rude, and not customer service oriented. When we purchased our three units 4 years ago we had agreed to a unit for the cellar. After ARS pulled out our current unit they realized that the unit they had specked out and that they sold us wouldn’t work in our house. They came up with a plan b unit that they said was same quality and that would work with our house. This is the unit that is now broken. After all our years as customers, all the money we have spent with this company I would have expected more from the management team. I understand it is not the mangers fault the unit broke but the attitude, lack of respect and sense of customer service was appalling. I highly recommend that you look elsewhere if you are interested in purchasing or servicing your units! This is no longer a company we will be working with.

They installed a mini split AC in my house years ago and they seemed like a descent company. I had a maintenance contract with them on the unit since they require a lot of maintenance and they had one expert on staff. It appears he left the company (was given the run around about his status by different employees). They sent a technician out named Dakota who was a pushy salesman in disguise. Told me my working AC needed $4k in repairs without bothering to turn on the unit. They dragged cancelling out till I was billed again for the maintenance plan but refused to refund the payment. Was promised multiple times a manager would call me back over the last month but never happened. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM.

ARS Rescue Rooter is the worst company ever, they are dishonest and their management is a bunch of liars. When I wrote a bad review for them after the repaired by AC, a manager called Paula called and promised to refund the diagnstic fee portion of the outrageous bill they billed me for performing 5 minutes of repairs at my house, the refund was never done and Paula has avoided my calls and refused to return my calls. What a shame, a bunch of thieves and liars, do not use them, they are dishonest and full of crap. I do not recommend this scam sham business and will never use them again, veterans please avodi them at all cost.

they installed 2 new top of the line carrier heating/cooling systems 2 years ago. one of them was broken before they left at install and we had emergency repair that night for several hours. have had many repairs, complete ductwork replacement in basement due to improper install and a couple of major parts that already needed replacing. all that was under warranty but of course never should have happened if the company knew what they were doing. brand new systems should not break down a couple of times a year. they just fixed the latest problem and want me to pay for something that should be under warranty. they won't return phone calls or give any explanation as to why it should not be under warranty.

I attempted to contact ARS QA Manager and still have received a return call. DO NOT use ARS. The customer service is beyond horrible. You pay thousands of dollars for a brand new system (in my case 2 systems) and then pay hundreds of dollars annually for a service plan. It takes weeks to get an appointment scheduled for routine maintenance and then they don’t show up for the appointment. ARS wastes your time and money! Don’t use ARS!!!!! Take your money elsewhere.

Complete and utter disaster. ARS missed (late or no-show) six scheduled service appointments. Installation was poorly executed, and crew actually damaged the equipment during installation. Numerous attempts to contact service managers and the regional manager via email and phone were unsuccessful. Within three months the units needed to be serviced/repaired again. I will use another service provider for all further HVAC needs. Save time/hassle/money/aggravation and do NOT use ARS Rescue Rooter for any services. Note - I would have rated "no stars", but this requires at least one...

Buyer beware. I called this company to repair our heating system. The company representative was unprofessional (smoking cigarettes and talking on the phone most of the time). He got the system working and then it stopped again. He aggressively attempted to sell us an entire replacement system and insisted on having someone else come by for a "same day free estimate." I declined and paid $119.95 for the "diagnostic." The service provider left in a huff (given that I declined a subsequent sales visit) with our heat still not working. I called a more professional company to come repair the system. Come to find out, ARS Rescue Rooter's representative had actually fixed the problem but had then pulled the disconnect on the heat, leaving us with no heat in 26-degree weather. I called the company and left a message requesting a call back to discuss the poor service I received. No one has provided the courtesy of returning my call. This situation is worthy of a complaint to the Virginia Department of Professional and Occupational Regulation.

I sincerely did not have a problem with the professional service per se, the technician was professional prompt on time, and knew what he was doing. On Dec 9, 2020, it took him about 30 minutes to figure out the problem and found the unit is still under warranty. He ordered the part and told me once the part is received, I will be contacted to schedule replacement. I called the office they did not call me. They were quick in responding and replaced the part on Dec 19. Cost is my main issue. They wanted $119.95 for diagnosis fees which WILL NOT be considered a part of the final repair fees. I believe it’s not a good business not to tell the client beforehand how much you will charge as service fees, they did not. Only after they diagnosed it. After a discussion with the technician, he talked to the office and the service fee was forfeited. The part replacement cost was $403! It took less than 30 minutes, 25 to be exact, to replace. Not sure how the rate of this charge is justified. I was told about the $403 charge right after the first visit but did not have a choice at that point. With all due respect, I understand, as explained to me, they have more overhead budget more than mom and pop shops. I still believe this total repair should not have been more than $250 at the most.

Scheduled maintenance in June, ARS called the day before the appointment and indicated they needed to move my appointment out a month to July 9th, 7-11 AM. No tech showed up, so I called ARS, and was told someone had moved me on the schedule to 12-6 PM. Mid afternoon ARS called to say they need to move my appointment to July 10, and I will be first on the schedule at 7 AM. Called ARS at 8:23 AM, NO TECH. I was told that dispatch would have the tech contact me. Have not heard from the tech yet. This company does NOT take care of prepaid maintenance customers.
