Interior Painting
. The touch up from the first days work took over an hour to point out in the morning of day 2, i should have realized then there were issues with their work, but I let them continue. My bad. The entire condo needed repainting almost immediately after they completed the work, they missed parts of a door frame and around a window. They were sloppy, they painted onto the air vents without cleaning up their mess, they thought to ignore the switch plates and were going to leave them the old color, they also had painted OVER them in places until I noticed and made them remove the plates bf they painted the area. It was a mess, overall poor quality, low professionalism and zero recommendation to anyone to use them in future.

"First comment explains why I was hired.....great references!!! Clearly cost of paint was the issue we use quality paint not low grade paint... The property was destroyed by previous tenants who tried to paint themselves what a mess!! I have been in business for over 20 years and I have hundreds of clients who are regular customers.. Flooring is always covered...wall plates and ceiling vents removed and door knobs taped off prior to any painting done by my company. I'm very thankful Angie's list lets you respond to reviews by previous customers I know a lot of companies personally that are being ruined by dis honest reviews such as this one."

Kitchen and Bath Remodeling
they completed screwed up the shower which caused a leak in the kitchen. It took them 3 1/2 weeks trying to fix the problem only to happen again. DO NOT USE THIS CONTRACTOR!!! I had to pay another contract $3000 to fix the damage caused by C & L painting.

"First off ceiling issue was already there that was why we were called in to repair the drywall on the ceiling. Issue was much far serious then replacing shower tiles etc..... Customer had told me that the water leak was repaired before we started the work.. This was obviously a plumbing issue With drain pipes in the ceiling again we replaced tile in shower and bathtub.. I find it hard to believe how customers have the right to take there problems out on a company..AKA someone to blame for someone else's mistakes !!! Not once did we go near any plumbing simply replaced tile."

Interior Painting
It was horrible. Our house has 2 floors and it was empty but after 3 weeks he still wasn?t done. He did not have lights so he would end up painting only in the daylight as some of the rooms did not have lights. He had no drop cloth and we had to tell him to cover the floors and he then covered it with paper. He called me up and asked me to go and pick up the paint and pay for it. We did tell him that we will pay for the paint but we expected him to bring everything and then pay for it in the end as discussed initially. He did not even know the estimate of how much paint it would take. The last day of the work we literally were up and down the house telling him that he needs to fix this and finish up this.

"We started this job during the holiday season and advised the customer that because of this the job would take longer than normal. The customer did not have electricity so it was impossible to have lights in the home, so painting in the daylight was the way to go, but our company doesn't work at night so this wasn't an issue. As far as drop cloths, we are a professional painting company that paints hundreds of homes a year. It is not profitable for us to own "paper drop cloths" and have always maintained an over supply of heavy cloth drops. Paper has only been used in entry ways of homes to refrain from tracking in outside dirt when going back in forth to the work vehicle from the home. We also use shoe covers as well. As far as paint amounts, I have been working in this field for over 20 years and a business owner for over 11 years. I have enough experience to be able to know how many gallons of paint to coats to square footage a room should take. These same comments were added to another website and the customer then had their review removed because of the inaccuracy of their statements."
