They are great. They came in to finish the job after I had lost confidence and fired the great big company that I hired first. Unlike the great big company, they did not try to hard sell me a $35,000 complete sewer replacement with scare tactics. Unlike the great big company, they had a high def camera that accurately assessed the situation. The great big company had a very low rez camera, and claimed our entire line had large areas of complete corrosion (it didn't). Unlike the great big company, they didn't excavate long sections of our concrete slab (and ruin the entire floor in a whole room) - instead they dug small holes in our slab to replace sewer line in sections, and slid the new pipes under the intact slab. Much better! Unlike the great big company, they listened to our needs and future plans and adapted their work to it. They took special care with things they didn't have to. They suggested really smart things that hadn't occurred to us - specifically, adding an exterior clean out instead of replacing the line all the way to the street, which according to their superior camera was in surprisingly good shape considering its age. They were prompt, polite, and responsive. Highly, highly recommend, especially since we have very specific points of comparison between them and the great big company.

The company owner, Vernon Villareal, a master plumber, personally organized my job from start to finish, totally hands-on. He obtained the fiberglass laundry tub that I specified from the plumbing supply store which had to be special ordered. Mr. Villareal took the initiative to put the order thru the manager at Sommerville to ensure that it would arrive on time. Mr. Villareal and his desk manager kept me informed step by step just in case the tub did not arrive on time. This master plumber oversaw the entire project from beginning to end in meticulous detail. For example, Mr. Villareal and his plumber/employee actually carried the concrete tub outside my house to destroy it there in order to avoid making any damage to my recently painted walls and flooring in the laundry room. They threw extra tarps in the laundry room for extra measure to ensure no damage. They even painted that part of the wall that had long been hidden by the concrete tub. They added a couple of shut off valves, all of this at no extra charge. They finished the job on time. Every aspect of this job was carefully thought through and meticulously handled. This company does outstanding plumbing work. This work was the best quality job of any company I have reviewed in years.

Vern did a FANTASTIC job digging out our backyard for our large bump out addition to our house. He was polite and punctual. The work was completed on time and on budget - no surprises. What impressed me the most was how well he maneuvered digging machine (not sure of the name for it) in such a tight space - there is a certain art to that level of coordination. Hopefully, we are done digging up our yard, but if I had to hire him again, I would.

Vern was there within 30 minutes with a ladder and a "snake" tool with a camera/light that he uses for plumbing. After NINE hours, 5 holes in the drywall and one of the most stressful days of my life, Vern pulled a hot, thirsty, but otherwise ok cat out of the wall. I am incredibly grateful for his help and would recommend him to anyone without hesitation.
