This is the ONLY company you should call.

Our heat pump began having problems keeping our house warm and we noticed that the outdoor unit would get heavily iced over.  We learned that our old heat pump had a freon leak and that the R22 freon was being phased out.  Clearly it was time to upgrade to a new unit.  We had a few estimates but we were very impressed with Ken Smith's inspection and recommendations. He patiently answered all my questions.  Unlike other HVAC firms, Ken was focused on how our old unit worked and what we really needed in a new unit.  He did not try to upgrade us to units that would never pay off.  
Despite a frigid cold snap with temps in the low teens (with plenty of service calls for all HVAC firms) Ken was able to get us scheduled for a complete heat pump replacement almost immediately.  Two service techs came out to install promptly at the 8 a.m. appointment time - one focusing on the outdoor unit while the other dismantled the interior unit and placement of the new heat pump and duct work.  The workers were very neat  (much neater than we are at home).  They put down coverings on the floor and either took their boots off or but on covers on their shoes.  This turned out to be an all day job.  The tech showed me the owner maintenance items on the new unit and how to use the new thermostat.  After all the work was done everything from the old unit was hauled away and the entire area was cleaned up.  The only thing they left behind were their foot prints in the snow.  
As for the new unit - we did not get anything above a builder's grade system.  But the real proof was in how the new systems works.  Our kitchen area used to very warm in the summer and very cold in the winter.  Our kitchen is now warm and we have much better air flow throughout the house.  
Overall - extremely professional service that was fast and exceptionally well done.

This is a top notch company. The owner Ken and his son Jeremy went out of their way to assist with the resolution of an installation done by another vendor. The first installation they did was not perfect (due to a wrong size AC), but Ken was very professional and went out of his way to get the issue resolved.. He told me he would rather fix it and have me as a customer for life.
The techs are first rate. Jay is awesome.
We then had the opportunity to meet Juan and get him in on a smaller project to fix a heating issue in our new home. Again, just first rate. You cannot go wrong with this company.

Great experience overall. Once I obtained the estimate it was explained in detail and all my options for the replacement reviewed. Ken reviewed with me the option for the energy star rated option versus the non-energy star rating and didn't push for me to go with the more expensive option. Everything was completed timely and I haven't had any issues with the system. I would definitely recommend their services.

K W does residential and commercial places. They are really good. They also do my regular check-ups at the beginning and the end of the year. I did not know what was wrong with my system but when they came they knew right away that it was the motherboard. They even submitted it as a claim for me so there was no charge at all. They are pretty typical in their prices and they always come when I need them.
