VIRGINIA CUSTOM BUILDINGS & PLAY CENTERS

I chose Virginia Custom Buildings to replace a storm damaged shed because the destroyed shed was built in the 60s and was solid wood. I wanted to replace it as close to the original as possible. The shed was ordered and delivered to the VCB lot. It took several months before it was dry enough to be delivered in my yard. Rodney told me that he had backed into it on the lot and put a small hole in the siding. He said he had ordered a replacement piece to repair it. Unfortunately, the hole went through the wood inside. When I asked if he realized that, he said, "No" and that he was sorry. I was not happy that I was paying full price for a damaged shed. I held off payment, waiting for him to somehow make it right. He never did. Then I was told I would be turned over to collections if I didn't pay. I feel that I should have been given a discounted price for a shed that has a hole in it. I am so disappointed.

Personnel at the yard were very helpful and knowledgeable. We chose an existing shed; but they will accommodate colors, finishes, window and door placement. We could not take possession immediately (HOA permission required), and Va Custom Buildings worked with us on delaying our delivery.
The delivery men were very efficient, professional. The shed was placed where we wanted and leveled, very securely placed.

This was an excellent experience. The owner Rodney went over all our options and helped us pick just the right shed. They leveled the ground perfectly, and installed the shep completely level. The shed is well built and looks great. I highly recommend this company in all respects.

They did the work excellently. It was a very good experience. They had time for us, and they went over every detail. They told us what to expect and what we'd need to do. It was a good company to get a product from. The price was excellent, but I think it was average. They did good quality work.

What a pleasant experience! Rodney has a very easy going personality but doesn't miss a detail. He guided us from start to finish to realize our dream of a detached home workshop. The property has a great selection of all sizes and shapes of outbuildings, garages and playhouses - my imagination went wild! We were left to look on our own but could always find him when we had a question. He was patient and kind during the design process. We are very satisfied with service, quality and communication.
