I met Mr. Sisk while he was performing work in the neighborhood. I asked him for a bid. He gave me a fair bid which included additional stump grinding. He offered to do the work in a few days and I accepted the following day after verifying his licenses. They did the work timely; cleaned up well; and required little or no supervision.

Jr. Sisk always performs the work in a competent and safe manner and cleans up well. He advises us well and shows great flexibility in working with us and our budget constraints. The times we’ve required emergency service, his crews arrive promptly, no matter how bad the roads and weather.

Although we’ve solicited bids from numerous other tree services, we’ve used Jr. Sisk Tree Service for over a decade and have never been disappointed. His rates are favorable and his work is excellent. But most important is the honesty, the experience, and the flexibility he exhibits. I can truthfully state that there is no better tree service available in the northern Virginia area. You might pay more but you won’t get a result and an experience that’s better than what Sisk provides.

Jr Sisk and his team have cared for trees in my yard several times. The price is always reasonable and the work is always top quality. Most recently, they pruned fruit trees and removed 2 large, dead trees in my back yard that were dangereously close to the house. When Jr came to see the work, he gave me a verbal estimate that day. He and his team came back within a week and did the pruning. At that time, they determined that the dead trees were too full of bees to take down. They sent a climber up to thoroughly spray the bee nests. They came back 3 days later to fell the trees. They were able to bring the trees down right where planned (avoiding the house, fences, and other trees). In one day, all debris was removed and the job completed. I'll continue to call Jr when I need tree work.

The estimate was quite high compared to others I received. I chose not to go with this company. They also did not provide a written estimate, just verbal.

His people are very professional. There was no way to get a cherry picker to the tree, so he had guys climb up into the tree to take it down. When they were done with the job, everything was cleaned up very nicely. There was no mess. I have used him on other occasions. He understands the structure of a tree. He knows how to thin a tree the right way. He is very good and polite.
