"We acknowledge that the installers should have taken better precaution in protecting the flooring at the air handler closet and we did scratch up the floor. There was other flooring work needed there due to some water damage. Wintergreen resort was handling the flooring replacement/repair for the entire area, including our portion right at the air handler closet. We just recently got billed for this in November and paid our part. The delay on the flooring repair was completely out of our control. The unit did come dented from the factory (or from shipping) with the emblem off the unit. We quickly ordered a new door and emblem and had that replaced within a week. So, the Boyers employees were negligent in protecting the floor and that certainly has been addressed company wide. The delay in the flooring repairs were completely out of our control as several sections of flooring were also being replaced here and being handled by Wintergreen Resort. As the customer mentioned, the system as worked from day one and we took care of what we could control in a very timely manner (ie -scratched/dent door). We feel the real complaint here is on the flooring that was held up by Wintergreen Resort."
"This review was from a renter of the property and not the owner. We did have an issue with the first technician on site which the renter commented about. A second technician was sent to the property and the system is functional and operating properly to the owner's satisfaction. The owner of the property is a long time service agreement customer of ours and was the one responsible for payment of services."
"We were called out here in June of 2011 for a no AC call on 2nd floor. We had to tighten a valve on refrigerant line and add some refrigerant on the system. This was after another company had supposedly "fixed" a leak on the system while the house was in closing (the realtor had called the other company out before this owner purchased the house). The owner did complain of service charge due to time the technician spent on the project and we worked with him on that and credited some time off the invoice. We did give him the option of an extensive leak search which he declined. We went back in 2012 for a service checkout at the owner's request but nothing was found wrong. We have not been back since 2012. We feel we were very fair in compensating this customer for the 2011 service performed and have had no other dealings since the last checkout in 2012."
"I pulled the service history for this customer and found that we have not been there since at least 2003 (our files do not go back any further than that from when we had a software computer upgrade). As a qualified Carrier Factory Authorized Dealer we do not sale "used" equipment and all our technicians are NATE certified. We feel this posting is false and malicious as we have not had any contact with this customer in recent years. The local Home Depot provides installations for customers but that work is subbed out to another local HVAC contractor here in town who this customer apparently uses. The Home Depot does not handle the installations or service work. I would like this review removed (even though he gave us all A's ) due to the inaccurate and malicious comments. I feel that this customer was intentionally giving us a bad review. Again, we have had no contact in recent years with this person and did not sell him any equipment (and certainly not used equipment). Do not know who his sister is but assume this is false as well. I am very involved in all our installations and this does not "compute". Thank you for your time. Paul Boyers"
