Dishonest. Left 7 800lb logs behind. Busted two sections of my fence. Took out my electric wire. Crushed my cable line. His employees are his children. The father cusses at them. Do not hire these people. Randy Brooks the Owner tried to get more money out of me.

The owner of this business Randy Brooks, in my opinion, is an extremely violent and dangerous individual. My neighbors hired this business to trim trees on our property line encroaching on their pool. The 4 workers this company used to do the work cut down large limbs above my fence ( a fence built recently out of metal cattle fencing, wooden stakes, and zip ties - simply to keep deer out for the season), dropping them onto it and crushing it in roughly 40 yards of total area. When confronted about it ( with limbs and their work materials literally still sitting on my damaged fence ) initially the worker who did the cutting was very apologetic and accepting - offering to pay for the damage he directly admitted to causing without so much as an argument. I was happy to accept this but still wished to speak to their boss to verify the situation got handled in such a fashion. The worker initially told me he had no number for me to call as "he was just a worker" and gave me the false name of Ronnie, not the man's actual name - Randy - in reference to his boss. The number to the tree service was on the truck parked in the driveway comically enough so I took it upon myself to leave a message for the man on the voicemail I was sent to. A few minutes later their boss coincidentally showed up at my house eating a sandwich and was made aware in person by one of his workers as to the damage done to my fence. He approached me asking if I wanted to show him what happened to the fence to which I agreed. As we walked back through my yard to look at the fence the man, Randy Brooks, started to pull at it saying things such as "oh it's not that big of a deal I can just sledgehammer these wooden stakes back into the ground for you." When I inquired as to what he planned to do with the smashed cattle fencing he scoffed and offered to straighten it out for me to which I let him know it was damaged and would like the section his workers hit replaced. His response was to immediately raise his voice and start accusing of me trying to get something for nothing while a steady slew of curses and names came out of his mouth. The most aggressive one, at which point he was full on yelling was "you're one stupid mother ******." As you can imagine the situation only escalated from there with the man throwing his sandwich onto the ground , raising his hands above his shoulders and demanding I take a swing at him, while calling me a *****, a coward, and every other name you can imagine. This argument culminated in the man actually spitting in my face, yes you read that correctly. At this point he was yelling continuously and threatening me with bodily harm to which I told him I was going to call the police and promptly did after telling him to get off my property. As I walked away the rest of his employees including himself berated me with insults - calling me a ***** and a coward for not attacking the unhinged man. A police report was made and tomorrow I will be going to the magistrate to file assault charges on the owner of this company Randy Brooks as well as opening a small claims case for the damages to my fence. Please be careful when dealing with this man if you choose to use his business. If anyone reading this would like proof of the damage to my fence as well as the assault charges I will be attempting to file with the magistrate I am happy to send you pictures of both.

We had arranged to have the work done in Sept.
We needed some extra time, so we said first of Oct was fine.
I called in Oct, as I had not heard back.
Randy explained he was behind, and needed another week or 2.
I figured they waited on us, waiting on them was fair.
I was about ready to call another tree service.
A month later a truck showed up in front of my home.
The next day they were ready to go. I had not contacted another tree service, so I went with Viewpoint.
I wish they had contacted me ahead of time, so I could arrange proper payment, as my wife was out of town and handles the checkbook. This resulted in me writing checks on the wrong account, which we did correct.
I never was given a clear reason as to their tardiness.
They never told me they dented my fence as a few limbs fell.
They did not tell me they cut down my rhododendron fro truck access to the back yard.
They removed my fence, anticipating stump removal. The recommended stump removal contactor never showed. (Bill's)
The fence is still down. Randy has not called to reinstall.
The truck damaged my lawn.
Hindsight is always 20/20. Or at least it should be.
