Cunningham came to our new property to tell us about the two wells on the property. We are total novices regarding wells. He looked at the set-up for the one well that is currently operating. He was satisfied with what was there, but did indicate that a bigger tank might be needed and that the pump, etc needed to be protected for the winter.
Then we went to another well on the property. That well was covered and had no pump or tank on it. We discussed a price for getting the well up and running. He suggested that we might want to wait until we build our home and put things in the basement of the house and only have to pay once to get the septic operational. In anticipation of doing this, he suggested that since he was already there, we measure the depth of the well. We did that.
Cunningham did a great job of explaining the well workings to us and where the lines seemed to be going, etc.
