lots of communication before and during install. no leaks in roof! cleaned up the surrounding area very well but I did find a few large bolts while walking the grounds for a few days after the install. customer support is a quick phone call or text away. they use products with â smartâ features viewable in its companion app. i plan to add on a backup battery and/or a level 2 charging cable in the near future.

So far the install is consisting of insulating my house, installing a solar attic fan, changing Lightbulbs and addressing any wasted energy sources to bring my overall demand down. THEN we will install the Solar panels rated for that adjusted work load, in my case about 19.2KW. When all said and done I will have a $400 bill for 12 years, then zero with an anticipated life span of 25 years at 80%, and by then replacements may be better and cheaper, so I will be ahead of the costs. My recent $500 power bill is sucked into the cost of the system, What I pay down and what I borrow will equal out to the $418. ($209 per month loan payment for 12 Years the rest I paid up front) Excess power is currently only bought back at Wholesale, so I don't need a super sized grid to try and make extra money out of the power Co, just negate what we use and a little change for fluxuation of power usage. Take daytime showers so the water heater cycles and the dryer run during the day off solar power for example will be additional savings. Once they place the Solar panels in I can try to edit or add additional information. Overall satisfied with service work so far.

We got off to a rocky start because the work crew arrived very late on day one, but that was soon behind us. The contractors were polite and kept us informed of what they were doing. They did follow up to make sure everything was done to our satisfaction. Oh, and they were very animal friendly- petted the dog and told her she was pretty, and stayed on the lookout for the cats.

Within first month starting to see saving from not only producing our own energy but from the improvements to the insulation.

We were very impressed by the workforce. They were all very professional and skilled at what they do. Corey, our salesguy and main contact was very helpful and pleasant to work with. His passion for solar is without question. He laid out a schedule from the beginning and they were very close to it all the way along. The financing was a breeze and all inspections went through without a hitch. The reasons we did not give a 5 overall was for minor stuff. They ran out of pipe insulation and I had to prompt them to complete that aspect of the work. Another reason was just a disappointment with system ratings. Our system which was operational starting the month of June has only once come within 15% of its peak rated capacity. From my research this is probably due to solar panels reduced efficiency at higher temperatures. Our sunniest days have been in the 80s which is warmer than the optimal generating temperatures. We are going on the assumption that we will hit peak at some time with cooler weather, October maybe(??), but the point being don't expect your system to be near peak very often. That being said we are producing on average better than the 80% of our electric use that the system was designed to deliver. The value of our system was spot on. We got more performance for less money than any of our other 3 bids. The work was done on schedule in a professional manner with minimal loose ends for me to tie up. I am very pleased and would definitely recommend Convert Solar to anyone.

The install went great except some necessary shingle removal I was not advised of until I found them in my backyard. I had to contact them for an explanation which was satisfacory. The initial pre-installation logistics were a little lacking on information regarding payment and how the tax credit is applied.

They were very knowledgeable and explained there product clearly.
