Outstanding company to deal with. They were by far the lowest estimate of any contractor I tried. The completed a remove and replace on a 3200 sq. ft. ranch in one day. The crew was polite and efficient and the clean up job was perfect. CENVAR is the only company to deal with for your roofing needs.

We interviewed four roofing companies with experience with commercial roofing to do a variety of repairs on our church roofs which include slate, EPDM and asphalt shingles and also repairs to our copper gutters that were leaking. Brian Laverty with Cenvar Roofing was one of the more detailed roofers with his proposal and he responded very quickly. He was always available for our questions and patient with us as we gained understanding of the magnitude of our job. We hired Brian because of his price but also because of our comfort level with him and the reviews from previous customers who had similar needs as our needs. After the work was scheduled, the crew from Cenvar arrived at the promised time and they worked diligently as a team to correct the issues we had with our current roofs per their proposal. Cenvar honored their estimate for repairs although they encountered unexpected issues which was not surprising for a structure that is 100 years old. I have recommended and will continue to recommend Brian Laverty and Cenvar when given the opportunity for residential and commercial work because of their high quality of work, their high level work ethic, their desire to do their work with "excellence",their high level of professionalism and their excellent follow-up.

They came when they stated. They were very considerate and cleaned after themselves. The job did not take as long as they expected and decreased the price. I will definitely use Cenvar again.

November 10, 2020 Abraham Lincoln reportedly said that if he had only one hour to chop down a tree, he’d probably take forty minutes to sharpen the ax, and twenty minutes to chop down the tree. Lincoln’s business model reminds me of the thorough planning and careful performance of Cenvar Roofing. The professionalism of their work was only exceeded by its skillful craftsmanship. The foreman/estimator first met at length with me to understand what outcome was expected. I assumed “install some new gutters and downspouts” was a good enough answer, but soon appreciated various options and choices: material, installation, warranty, scheduling, and financing were explained. Upon timely completion, the final project exceeded my expectations, in function and appearance; the total cost was less than my own estimate. Prefect, installation team work well together. Site was kept clean and clean up was kept to a minimum. From the sales appointment to the installation I was informed all the way through the process.

They replaced my gutters and added a board on the back of my house for a great price. I had them replace my entire roof a few years back and they were amazing. They had the best price and I was far more impressed with their knowledge and professionalism on the subject than any of the other providers I interviewed. Now several years out, I would not consider using anyone else.

Everything went well and ply boards were replaced where needed. We received a 50 year warranty! That is amazing! It was completed in one day!

The roof replacement is fine - nothing amazing, nothing upsetting. My communication with their office throughout the process has been frustrating and unprofessional.

When we first contacted Lynchburg Roofing, they had not changed to their new name yet. They are now CENVAR Roofing. I don't remember the date of the initial call, but we were put on a waiting list pending orders in front of us as well as pending weather. When we did receive a phone-call for the date of install, it turned out to be the week of Hurricane Florence. We scratched our heads since one of the reasons for the delay of several months was the inclement weather. Nevertheless, three pallets were dropped off at the top of our driveway. Not a big deal, however, we had made room in our garage for the materials to keep everything dry during hurricane week. Our first complaint was that many of the pallets were not wrapped to keep everything dry from the rain during that week. Most everything got really wet. Some things laid in mud while our two skylights got soaked. Nothing could be done about the roofing materials getting wet, but they did replace the two skylights since the cardboard boxes were drenched and had collapsed. As I said, it was the week of hurricane Florence and things got really,really wet. Our second complaint was installing the shingles while it rained. We didn't think they should be getting wet. We complained, but we were assured by the foreman it was OK. But that begs the question; why then were we put on the back-burner if this could have been done in the rain? Because we were concerned, we did call the manufacturer of the shingles, and we were told they should not be installed in the rain. So that's a head scratcher. Our next complaint was we have a small "covering" over our back deck area that is not part of the main roof. The employees used this area to walk the shingles over to the main roof. Between four employees walking weight, and the weight of the packaged shingles, this was nearly 500-800 lbs. We had to yell at them to get off the roof because it was bowing in the center area. As a result of the weight, we have had several leaks during and after the rain. To their credit, they have sent a gentleman out (a few times) to repair the leaks, but we were discouraged during his last visit because he told us we would have to repair the area in question, soon. We thought that was their way of saying they would not keep coming out. But keep in mind it was not leaking prior. Because of the wet conditions, the grass area where they used the access lift was soaked. This caused the machine to leave large caved in areas where the water now pools. They were great about fixing it, by sending out a landscaper, but it has never really been the same and we have two areas that are very noticeably damaged. We have not called back about the gutter issues because we feel like we have become a nuisance. Water is dripping from the fascia area when it rains. Our final complaint was we felt like our initial complaints fell on deaf ears. During the install things were not communicated very well. We had to ask them when they were going to return since it was raining and only a portion of the roof had been completed.. We really believe they should have waited another week to do the roof, and that would have kept us from a great amount of frustration. After all, it had already been months, so what harm would another week have been. We had called the Lynchburg office to complain (about many of our frustrations) but since this was the Roanoke division doing the install, nobody in a supervisory position (at Lynchburg) would talk to us or return the call, but instead asked us to contact the Roanoke Office. On a positive note we will say; the employees were hard working and professional. We dont think they should have been on a roof while it rains. Many of these things could have been prevented.

Tyler and Thomas were very professional and great in setting up scheduling for us. Communication was good. The day they came, the project manager, Ray kept me informed on what was happening! They were great at cleaning up and “WOW” the roof looks beautiful and the price was very reasonable. If you need a new roof, I highly recommend Lynchburg Roofing!

Well. Use of the equipter to catch roof tear off was great. I have plantings on all but one side of the area to be roofed and there was good plant protection without scaffolding. I had a friend who is a home inspector do a roof inspection prior to signing off, he thought all was good. There were a few minor cosmetic details with flashing and one shingle that they addressed and changed to my satisfaction. Even though they did a good job with cleanup, I have pets and rented a metal detector myself and found quite a few more nails left in the driveway and yard, I could have asked them to come back but felt like I had more invested in doing an extra thorough search. Price was very good and shingles came with 50 year warranty. The proposal was very detailed with lots of good advice about how to get ready for the project. The sales person was very knowledgeable and personable and able to answer all of my concerns.

The job went smooth, ontime, and everything was cleaned up.

They were prompt and cleaned up after their work. Only problem is that the shingles don't quite match the old ones. I am okay with this, however.

they came out and gave me an estimate. The guy Nick was great with my 2 year old helping him. He even told me about the Angieslist coupon! He was a little slow to get me a date but I wasn't in a hurry. When he did get me a day it was within a week or so of getting the estimate. The crew came at noon and were again very nice to my 2 year old who loves to meet and greet everyone. They cleaned up after. It was less then 8 hours total

Excellent experience from start to finish. They were considerably less expensive than the other Charlottesville roofers that I called. The work was preformed quickly and the quality was exceptional. I'm very happy that I called them.
