He said it would only take 3 - 4 days at the most. I finally got my roof done on 6/22/2013 by someone else. I had paid Chip in full on 9/5/2012. He needed the money for the materials up front and he did a good job on a friends house and was recommended by friend. I allowed for weather and such, but 10 months is a little too much. I would call him everyday and he would say he was coming or avoid my calls. Told him last week that I had someone coming to give me an estimate and he still kept saying "I'll be there tomorrow, day by day went by and no show, so when the new roofer showed up with his tools, I told him to go ahead and finish it please. Called Chip after the roof was done and go his voice mail once again, Left a message that said not to come back, that I had another guy finish the job he started last year. He called today while I was gone and said once again he would be here tomorrow. Called him back and got his voicemail again ( he carries a cell ). Told him to check his messages from Saturday and that I got someone else to finish and now he owed me what I had to pay out extra.
