Solar's Custom Arbor Care

He did a great job felling two large trees, grinding the stumps, in addition to two very large stumps from maples felled years ago, cleaning up the debris, and prepping the ground for topsoil and new grass. He even repaired at no extra charge an Invisible Fence wire that was accidentally cut, though it was my fault for not telling him it was there. I’d hire him and his crew again any day.

He did a beautiful job of felling a tree that was leaning in the wrong direction. It could have hit the well or fruit trees, but his expertise made it fall where no harm could be done. THANK YOU. I will call him again when I need tree work done. Diane E. North Garden, VA

Bobby is a hard worker, honest, and when faced with unusual circumstances and setbacks, did not try to weasel in additional charges, but stuck with a difficult job. I almost wish I could pay him more, but.... I give him my highest recommendation, and would absolutely use him again - if he is brave enough to take the job.

Not reliable and undependable. Solar's Custom Arbor Care came out to look at my project, taking down a 50 foot pine tree damaged in a wind storm, was also set up for him to take away all debris. He said he could do the job in about a half a day maybe little longer, he scheduled the day to do the work. When he showed up to do the work he stated he would not be able to do the work because he couldn't haul away the wood debris. He told me he could come by at a later time to take away the debris but couldn't tell me when that would be. There was also an uprooted tree bulb he said he could take care of. I had to pin him down to a specific day which made me leary of his work ethic. He confirmed he would be there 8-9 am but then called and told me he would be there 11-12 before he could get there in a more of a matter of fact tone rather than asking if it would be ok with me. He then started complaining about all the trips he would have to make. He seemed to have an attitude towards me, I told him Id pay him for work that was done but I thought our business together should be concluded at this point. He told me there would be a cancellation fee which was not mentioned in contract.

Tree removal is expensive. Bobby did a great job.
