About us

I have been a full time home inspector for over 16 years. I am Certified by the State of Virginia, and by The American Society of Home Inspectors. I am also certified by NEHA/NRPP for testing for radon gas. I am detailed and thorough, inspecting only one house per day. My inspection fees are accordingly higher, but my customers find their inspections well worth it.

Jim Gannon is incredibly thorough. I felt much more confident about the home I was buying after he did the crawl space to roof inspection.You can waste a lot of time researching others, but I would recommend just calling Jim Gannon. HE IS THE BEST YOU WILL FIND!!!!!!!!

Jim Gannon was recommended to us by my husbands boss and our realtor for a pre-purchase home inspection. Making the appointment was very easy, he returned my phone call within the hour and scheduled me for a time at my convenience. He was early to the inspection, very prepared and professional. He was very thorough and did not seem to miss a detail. He educated us as much as he was providing a service. He generated a report later that day, as promised which included everything he had mentioned on inspection down to the smallest detail, as well as photographs. He is more expensive than some of the other inspectors we looked at, but you get what you pay for. We were very pleased and recommend him highly.
