 + -1 moreIt went very well. We were greeted by the owner and family right away and given a quick and friendly overview of the trees available and where to look for which type. We were then provided with a saw and set off with our daughter to select our tree. After selecting and returning to the entrance/pay area, our daughter had an opportunity to pet the very friendly farm cat while we paid (they happily accepted a personal check, which was convenient as they are not set up to accept credit/debit cards). They netted the tree (with cotton netting vs. vinyl, which we thought was a nice change) and loaded into the back of our truck. We left pleased with the experience and with the amount that we paid. Note -- below for the "Home Build Year", I have selected the approximate year that our home was built (Cornwall St). However, I have input the address of Milltown Creek Tree Farm, as that is were we went for the purchase/service.
Description of Work: We visited Milltown Creek Tree Farms with our 3 year old daughter to choose and cut down our Christams tree. The atmosphere and friendliness at the farm were top notch. Also, the prices were straightforward and very fair. We selected an 8 foot Douglas Fir that turned out to be the perfect size and a lovely, natural shape. (We needed a narrow tree, as we live in an older, bungalow style home with a relatively small living room). 3 weeks later and it still looks great! We will definitely plan on visiting Milltown Creek Tree Farm again in the future.
