Great service and attitude.

You will most likely deal with Sam when you call in to place your order and also when you take delivery of your order. He is respectful, courteous and knowledgeable. He took no money up front at all. It was all C.O.D. Admittedly I was a bit skeptical bc most companies want at least a 10% deposit. The company delivered in all areas as promised: professionalism, quality, price. The only thing that annoys me, (and it’s the fault of Angie’s List), is that I had to dig through and call several pages of contractors on Angie’s List, before I got to VA Glass Svcs. IMHO, this company should be at the top of the list. If you’ve taken the time to shop around, and you were fortunate enough to find this company, place your order now. You’ve found your needle in the haystack!

Excellent service, called Sam to get an estimate to install a glass shower door ,he came over next day, extremely professional, I saw all the good reviews so I went with Sam, and he did not disappoint me. Communication was great, I had many questions, and changed a few things, he was always pleasant, answered all questions the same day.  The install went great, and it looks awesome. I wish everyone gave great service like Sam. I will go with him for all my glass needs. Thank you so much for the excellent experience

the job was completed as scheduled..this included the removal and replacement of trim from around the window.

It went well. Took the measurements, taped up the old glass , gave a lead time. Didnt ask for payment til the work was completed. Not a bargain but a reasonable price.

Great Service! Called Sam for an estimate after reading the write ups here on Angie's List and was not disappointed. They were extremely professional from beginning to end. They came over promptly and explained in detail what needed to be done, how long it would take, and the cost. When the glass arrived they not only completed the job in an exacting manner but the installer stayed on his own to fix the sliding screen because he did not like the way it was working. And he did this on his own and at no cost. And when you factor in that this was his last call of the day on a very very hot Friday and he still took the time when he could have just called it a day you can understand why Virginia Glass Services has the excellent rating that they have. Will never use anyone else!

I was prepared to shell out big bucks for 2 new windows, but the guy who came to do the estimate said it was unnecessary--he could repair them to working order for less.  And they did.  I ended up getting two windows repaired -- new feet, balances, and some new glass panes -- for about $525 total.  That's only a little more than a single new window would cost, and these now operate and look like new.  Can't help but be impressed by a company that doesn't try to up sell you.  

In terms of scheduling appointments, providing an estimate, showing up on time -- all prompt and professional.

Well I just signed up on angieslist to give WoW this review. Amazing professional job from the beginning of the quote/estimate stage to the final installation of new glass . We didn't feel pushed or annoyed by salesmen and gimmicks. They were honest about price and stood firm by their product and prices. They explained the process very well from the window ratings, label to the payment process to the extensive information about arrival times and installation times. The crew hardly took a break and had me out many times to check and explain the installation. SAM; salesman and foreman kept us in the loop and came by to check the crew and the installation, it was fantastic. I have had experiences with many contractors since we have updated our entire 30 year old home. Even a bad experience with another window company who did our back windows, it was a nightmare. I'm so wishing now we had found VIRGINIA GLASS SERVICES two years ago for this older job. Every part of the job with VIRGINIA GLASS SERVICES has been outstanding. We are having them back to install our new front door. I would highly recommend them to anyone! Prices are very competitive also, you can't go wrong with this company.
