I have a condo that was looking rather dated and old. It needed work in both the kitchen and bathroom (floor, tile, bathub, cabinets the works). I called Universal Services because I have used them before and trust their work. I worked with Reza on this job. Reza came and measured the areas. I told Reza I needed to stay within a budget. After assessing the situation, Reza worked to find a way to build an estimate that would accomplish my goals within my budget. Reza was always on time for every appointment. There was a bit of lead time for the cabinets, but that was communicated to me right away, so I knew what to expect. Reza's crew came to the condo, and got the floor , tub and tile done, as we waited for the cabinets. Once the cabinets came in, Reza's crew went right to work, they were finished with the cabinets and Granite very soon after the cabinets were available. Once everything was done, there were a few cleanup items that were left. Once I communicated these items, Universal was quick to respond, and fixed all items as promised. Reza and Universal went above and beyond. The Condo looks better than it ever has. I will be working with Universal again in the future.

Started when they said they would.  Ended when they said they would.  finished for the price they said they would too.  I really needed them to be prompt and fast and they were.  also were able to do everything so no need to find subcontractors.  Being out of town, this was huge for us.

Excellent job and professional staff

We found them to be really good. The guy was real open, flexible, and was really willing to work with me on changing designs and making stuff work. I don't have anything that I didn't like about him. They did come in and quote for some other work that we are having done, but we decided not to go with them because of the price.

Working with Universal was an excellent experience. They delivered a new kitchen within the timeline they promised, and they were very easy to work with throughout the process. They even cleaned up after themselves! Ali provided guidance as needed and offered cost-saving recommendations. We had felt a little limited in selection of cabinets but in the end are very happy with our choice. We love the finished product!

Replaced the cabinets and countertop and installed a backsplash. My new kitchen is lovely. The price was excellent and the workmanship was outstanding. I recommended them to friends who were also pleased. They are punctual and leave the premises clean.

The work went very well. Ali, who is in charge of the operation stopped by every day to make sure things were going well. Ali asked me every day if I had any concerns. My concerns were very few, however when I did have concerns, Ali would take note of any concerns I had, and take care of them when it made the most sense in the project. The project was well planned, and executed without wasting any time.
The price was the price. As in When the crew ran into any issues, Ali would alert me to the issue, and promptly take care of them without raising the cost of the job. Apparently, Ali planned for any contingencies up front and did not add cost to project as he already knew what he was going to run into.
The crew was courteous, professional, and respected my house and belongings. They started out by setting down cardboard on my existing hardwood floors so as not to scuff them up or scratch them. They also covered any furniture with plastic, so that the construction dust would have as minimal an effect as possible on any surrounding furniture or components. Furthermore the crew cleaned up everyday where it made sense. When the kitchen was finally done 2 1/2 weeks later (Which was outstanding considering the amount of work that was done). The crew cleaned everything up in the new kitchen, and made sure they took care of any outstanding items. The end result was fantastic, my kitchen looks better than I could have imagined, and the entire first floor looks more modern and open. I will definitely use Universal again in my future projects.

They ended up dry sanding a wooden staircase that they were not supposed to do. It turns out one of the layers of paint that was on the stairs was lead paint. They ended up releasing lead poisoning which cost me over $5000 to repair. It was not a good experience. The only reason I had used them is because I thought I was using Universal Floors which had been referred to me. They have a very similar name and do the same services, so it was a bit misleading.

I came into the showroom with a photograph of my existing counter-tops, along with a cardboard template cut by the vendor who built the kitchen island. The personnel at Universal Services were very courteous, and were able to identify my type of granite promptly. The complete price they provided was lower than two competing bids.

The day after I had come in and placed my order, I called back to see if I could see any stone slabs before they started to cut, in order to try to match the stone as closely as possible. Two days later, I went out to their stone yard, where they had several slabs available for my evaluation. This morning, at the agreed-upon time, they came out with the cut, polished stone and installed it. It looks fantastic!

It went very well. They were excellent. They were on time and their tile work was excellent. They did a great job. The workers were very good at tile work. I would use them again.

They caused several cracks in the ceiling and installed the insulation too close to the
eaves of the roof thus blocking the air flow from the vents. They may have stepped
on the ceiling while installing the insulation. We had to call them back to pull
the insulation back from the eaves. I would use the company again to
install insulation but only under my supervision.

They were prompt and professional, friendly and helpful. They did everything they said they would, and more - they even hauled an old (and VERY HEAVY) grease trap out to the trash for us. Everything - floors, carpets, and baseboards - looked great when they were done. When we inquired about an estimate to clean our slate flooring, they cleaned a small unobtrusive area for us so we could see what it would look like, because the cleaning changes the appearance somewhat. We also felt their prices were reasonable. We were very happy with them and would happily use them again and recommend them to others.

I selected Universal to do my kitchen remodel and other small projects after seeing their work at the homes of a few neighbors in the area. I decided to switch around the plumbing and the electrical in the kitchen to create a pass through to my dining area. I also had them install new cabinets, take down wallpaper, along with installing laminate and tile. The company's bid was under the other two bids I received and the Universal team worked together the whole time (no sub contractors) and was very punctual and worked quickly (they took down my wallpaper in a couple of hours). They also added things like tiling my bathroom floor and hanging my dining room chandelier for a very reasonable sum. After the project was done, I found that my dishwasher wasn't working, the company came back out to make sure it worked.
