Bill is fantastic and I would hire him again in an instant. He takes the time to explain his process and puts the customer at ease. I had a very complicated drainage issue that resulted in quite a lake in my yard and unusable for several days after rain. He solved the problem! I can not even imagine how bad it would have been had I not hired him after all of the storms and inches after inches of rain that we just received. He is great at his craft, a true professional, and has a solid team of men that work for him. I would not hesitate to hire Bill for any of the services that his company performs.

As always, exceptional work from start to finish. We are so confident in Bill's design sense that my wife turned it over to him completely-- everything from the hardscape to the plantings and plant choices. Bill brings his entire team so everything always goes quickly.

Springfield Lawn and Landscaping did an amazing job of my exterior waterproofing. Although we won't see the results of their work for years to come, they were very professional and timely in their service. I feel confident the method they used will help with my issues. I would highly recommend them for both water proofing/draining and landscaping.

Bill and his entire team were wonderful! Everyone was very responsive and spent time answering all our questions and providing options to ensure we were happy with the design and implementation in the beginning and throughout the project. SLS went above and beyond to ensure our happiness with the project's every detail and made the end result something we will enjoy for years and years. We wanted an inviting backyard that would be an extension of our home to entertain family and friends. You delivered! We knew we needed some design ideas and we also needed options at various price points to help us make a good decision. Bill came up with some great ideas, explained the range of costs for each idea and even presented a phased approach. This project was a big investment for us, but it was money well spent. Bill Funk did a great job.  He is very knowledgeable and explained the job in detail before starting construction.  He had the power company come out and mark the power lines before he started digging, and he brought a large work crew, who were able to complete the job in one day.  The finished product looks great and works better than we expected.  We have a large hill in our back yard which slopes towards the house.  Bill's finished product moves the water coming down hill away from the foundation.  We got to see it in action during the heavy rainstorm last weekend, and it worked perfectly.  I would definitely use this company again.

Absolutely outstanding.  Very professional.  We had a lot of erosion problems.  This company suggested designs and improvements and solutions.  The work was timely performed.  The work was more extensive and better done than I had imagined.  The finished product is very atttrctive and impoved the appearance of my property.  They finally have solved my drainage and erosion problems which other contractors have fail to do.  I highly recommend them.

Bill and Francisco couldn't have done a better job of addressing ALL of our many requirements for the work that we needed to have done.  We had let an erosion problem get away from us and the work was long overdue and complicated.  From start to finish, they went the extra mile to attend to all of the details and deliver a first class job that will probably solve the problem forever and at least for longer than we will (pressure treated lumber doesn't really last forever)!  Their pricing was more than fair and they were professional and excellent in what they do in every respect.   We would highly, highly recommend them to anyone looking for any kind of landscaping or drainage work.  They can do it all when it comes to lawn care, landscaping, tree care and drainage - probably lots of other things as well.  We plan to have them come back out in the spring to sod and seed our very large yard, plus put in an irrigation system.

Bill was great and came out to give us some ideas and a free estimate. We had talked with Bill about having the work done in the spring, but by the time we had him revise the scope of work and we finally committed to the project, he was booked up and said he'd come in late June or early July. A few days after Miss Utility came out, his work crew showed up one morning in full force, and worked, and worked, and worked! They were a great team and every person was busy with something -- including whacking random weeds and other general yard cleanup -- the entire time. So impressed with the entire crew. Did a great job cleaning up the area when they left.

Their design look amazing and it has held up through the last week of rain storms. This is a problem that has persisted at the house since it was built (long before we bought it). They were able to perform of the work in a couple of days. The work crew was extremely professional (and all of the neighbors have told us how nice and hard working they were while they were there). They cleaned everything up and it looked amazing when they were finished. I can't wait to come up with our next project so we can have them back out here again!

Everything went well, on time, and ended the water runoff problem. Sod took well and the yard looks great.

I contacted the Company and reached a live person which resulted in an immediate appointment with the owner Bill Funk.
He was coutreous and professional and provided a well written and itemized estimate for my consideration. I signed the contract and sent in a 50% deposit. He called me back after Miss Utility marked the property to schedule to work to be completed. He promised that he would have my new lawn installed during the optimum growing season which was partly based on timing and weather. He estimated that they would have my job completed within three weeks of siging the contract. He delivered early because we were scheduled to have rain and he wanted the two to coincide.
While he was there he offered to plant some trees and plants that I had recently purchased while out shopping at no extra charge.
I feel as if he and his entire crew went above and beyond and would recommend them to anyone.

We have a transformed lawn now, without resorting to turf. Bill is congenial, knowledgeable, entusiastic about his work, and reliable. I have no hesitation recommending him for large landscape projects.

This is the third time we have used Springfield Lawn and we are always more than satisfied. Bill is extremely talented and enthusiastic and always has a vision for the space. We trust Bill to implement his vision which in this case evolved as he saw the hill without plants and large shrubs. He likes to use low maintenance plants which thrive well under the conditions in our backyard. He likes to have plants flowering at different times. We initially used Springfield Lawn for a drainage problem, so he will always consider drainage issues when designing the landscape.

I use them because they can also provide snow removal in the winter as well as lawn service during warmer weather. I give them all A's and will use them again in the future.

Called for an estimate of work. Mr. Bill Funk, Company representative arrived on time and provided a solution for our standing water problem. When we selected Springfield Lawn Services we were told there could be a 6-week wait to accomplish the work. We agreed to the time for scheduling but the company arrived in less than 3 weeks. The crew was professional and completed all the work and tested the system in about 5 hours. They then aerated the soil, seeded the area, added topsoil spread straw mulch and watered. They also seeded additional area that needed work. This addition area was not in the scope of work but was obviously in need of work and they included it. Their charges were what we agreed on with no additional costs. Very impressed with company and their representatives and crews.
